Toyark Gallery - Rocky Relaunch Series 1
|
Very cool!
|
As a huge Mr. T fan, I picked up the black trunks Clubber and it's am amazing figure. I thought about picking up the Rocky with the belt as well so I could give the belt to Clubber and have Rocky knocked out at his feet, but the belt doesn't come off? That's a dumb decision on NECA's part, but at least I found out before I wasted my money.
And Rocky's ab joint still looks terrible. It's ugly and makes his waist look much thicker than it should. Clubber's ab joint looks a little better. But otherwise, both figures look great and the likenesses are spot-on. Great photo shoot as usual, guys. |

The ab joints on these just pop apart? Any issues putting them back together afterwards?

I saw these except for blue trunks Clubber yesterday at TRU, they did look pretty good but I'm still waiting/hoping they'll do a new first movie Rocky since that's the look I really want, although I may end up getting the Rocky IV American flag Rocky. Rocky IV may have gotten super cheesy but the flag pattern look suits the character.

I wonder if we will ever get "street brawler" Rocky from Rocky V. I don't normally collect these, but I'd be all in for that.
