Love Army of Darkness, but this seems more like an Evil Dead Ashley J. Williams, since he comes with the severed hand rather than say his metal gauntlet he gets in Army. This severed hand is not in Army at all, just EDII. I've got the Sideshow version on pre-order. Loved how the Snake Plissken turned out so hoping their Ash is as good. But as stylized as this Action Toys Ash may be, still looks pretty awesome. Soft goods tailored clothing doesn't look as good as I'd like, the head sculpt and accessories look awesome.

Wish I woulda grabbed one of the Neca or McFarlane AOD figures from a few years ago. oh well.

Fear not fellow fan, NECA has an Ultimate Ash figure coming out soon. Granted it's from EDII and doesn't have the chainsaw (it should) but has a lot of other goodies. Should be out in September.

What?!? How can it be an "ultimate" Ash without his signature chainsaw?!? That's like...Wolverine without claws. They can keep the "other goodies", but Ash MUST come with his chainsaw and BOOMstick!
