Legends Apocalypse WIP
1 Attachment(s)
Only a casual Legends collector/customizer nowadays, but the upcoming X-Men Juggs wave was too good for me to pass up. I don't have many X villains in my collection, so I decided to cobble together an Apocalypse using my cheap from China spare Iron Monger BAF body and a shrunken Apocalypse head I found on ebay. The Iron Monger body's stock legs are too short, so to stretch him up a bit, a simple swap out for some repainted Red Onslaught BAF thighs did the trick. I'll be adding an "A" belt buckle and painting up his head eventually. After I got him together, I found older pics of other folks using the Monger BAF as an Apocalypse base, but I think this is a first that addresses the stubby stock leg issue. Easy recipe if you have the parts and some black paint! Go nuts folks.

Wow can't believe that no one has commented that Apoclaspe looks so good!

I'm pleasantly surprised I'm not the only person who thought these Iron Monger toys look like Apocalypse.
I really like how simple yet effective this custom is and Iron Monger's shine really works for being Apocalypse' armor. |
