I can't believe we're finally getting an Old Ben figure!

I'm going to have to get the old Kenobi he looks really good which is somewhat surprising for hasbro. Can't wait for him to come out.

They are the 6" black series ones.

First the X-Men wave, then the Marvel Legends SDCC set, now this?

So far every single SDCC exclusive Black Series figure has been released regularly later just without something the con version had. Boba Fett didn't keep Han in carbonite, Jabba didn't keep anything, and the First Order Stormtrooper didn't keep the pamphlet thing. I imagine Ben won't keep the hologram table.

Semi-related note: when are they gonna solicit the next wave of figures? I want Revan so bad.

We're being trained to watch for multiple versions and variants: the longer we wait, the more choices we have. I would like to buy a good 'Old Ben,' so it will be interesting to compare this version with the upcoming Figuarts alternative. Since Darth Vader appears in Rogue One, we can probably expect additional 6" versions of that character. (I read recently that parts of the movie are being re-shot to make it more warm and fuzzy. Let's hope that Vader is still BADASS.)

Like I said we'll most likely get old Ben in a regular assortment wave later but without the table or hologram. The Kylo Ren (young Ben :p) however I think feels more like something we'd only get in a multipack or as a store exclusive since the regular Kylo Ren has already been released so many times now.

Edit: just looked at the pictures of old Ben in box and I think it's a little weird that he comes with Anakin's lightsaber as well as his own. Every Luke so far (with the obvious exception of RotJ Luke) has come with one so is this one just to give to the Rey figure or something?

So want these two. Hopefully the will be out later one as regular releases. Love the Obi-wan I've wanted him in the 6" black series for so long.

I wonder if Myer in Australia will get these the way they got the Fett and Solo in Carbonite set? I hope so because I want them both and I'm not paying the 400% markup eBay sellers are asking for them.

I would love to get both of these. Kylo's face still just seems off though. Each time I've seen it on a Hasbro mold, it reminds me of Gene Simmons. It's no big deal though, we all know several maskless iterations of the character are bound to come out.

We haven't even gotten to scarred Kylo yet!

They need to reinject some life into this line and release some classic figs that people want. I want Zuckuss personally, and I know there are a lotta folks that would be thrilled by Grievous even though he's a li'l bitch in the movies. And they need to do like an R2 and Threepio set to kill the scalper/secondary market prices of R2... why haven't they done C-3PO yet anyway? They did every other character from TFA and they did like 4 OT Lukes!! TFA figures were fine but 80% of the past year's releases seem to have been TFA or toons, gimme a freakin' break. Well, I'm pretty sure Ahsoka was appreciated by many, but the rest... mehsville.

Damned exclusives. I want them both but between Hasbro's idiocy and the number of collectors willing to help others dwindling, I doubt I'll see either one in my collection. Sure, Ben will be on HTS, but for how long? 37 seconds? And no chance for us to get that version of Kylo?

I would totally buy a Zuckuss figure, actually a Zuckuss and 4-LOM two pack would be an instant buy for me.

let's get dengar in there too and be done with it.

I never liked Dengar but sure some people like him I guess so let's throw him in so we can be done with the Bounty Hunter lineup.

..funny..I used to think dengar was like a bum...he sure looked like one..Until i read one of the bounty hunter stories...
"Payback" is a pretty damn cool character that I've liked ever since..
Pre-'third trilogy' (which makes all the books doo-doo now) who do you think pulled Boba Fett out of the Sarclacc pit and nursed him back to health....THE BIG PAYBACK..aka Dengar the hobo...

Dengar to me is just sort of a boring human. He does look like a wino who wandered on set and they just stuck some ace bandages and pieces of a sliced up Rubbermaid trash can on him.
