Wishlist for Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends
 

So... I was just thinking about how much I would like to have a figure of a specific Marvel character in his new uniform ...
However, I then realized that, currently, there just isn't an appropriate Legends wave that he could be added to, since waves these days focus on a specific property, like The Avengers, Spidey, or (FINALLY !) The X-Men.

However, the Walgreens exclusives have a history of alternate versions of popular characters (Agent Venom and Eric O'Grady Black Ant / Ant Man), alternate costumes (1st Appearance Daredevil), and characters that Hasbro might normally claim are too tough to find a place for within the current waves (Namor), so this character would be IDEAL for a Walgreens exclusive.

So, anyways, my top pick for an upcoming Walgreens exclusive figure would most definitely be :

The Thing ! In his Guardians of the Galaxy jumpsuit !
I've wanted a figure of this version of The Thing ever since I picked up the variant "action figure" cover of GotG #1.

Runner-up choice :
Kitty Pryde as Star-Lord !

Even when we inevitably get another GotG wave when the second Guardians movie comes out, chances are it will be heavy on movie-based figures (like that last wave was), and Guardians version of these characters would probably be a longshot, so IMO, these figures would be excellent candidates for Walgreens exclusives.

Anyone else have any ideas for figures that might work well as Walgreens exclusives ?

How about a first female WG exclusive - Songbird? The Thunderbolts really have a hard time fitting in somewhere and she really needs to get made.

Oh, yeah, I typically hate exclusives too.
Like the new MCU version of Falcon being a Wal-Mart exclusive; that's just infuriating. It makes no sense to release a figure that most Legends collector want as a potentially hard-to-find exclusive. Same with the Purple Man figure in the new SDCC set :(

However, I'm cool with certain exclusives, like the Entertainment Earth GotG set from last summer, or Walgreens exclusives, since it doesn't take much extraneous effort to obtain them, and since they allow for us to get Legends of characters (or specific versions of characters) who may not normally be released any other way.

Songbird would be right at home in an Avengers-centric wave, but given that Agent Venom was a 'otherwise cancelled' release that only got released thanks to Walgreens, I think Songbird would be a perfect fit.

Just so long as they give her a long-haired head, even if it's an alternate. That short-haired prototype doesn't cut the mustard for me.

Going along the lines of repaints like the Walgreen's Daredevil, I'd love a Dark Phoenix repaint. Hopefully she'd come with a mane of super crazy, wild hair and phoenix energized eyes!

If not a direct repaint, I'd go with Elektra. Hasbro has stepped up since the 2-pack days and I'd love to see her on an updated body. Also, she'd go along with the Marvel Knights (Daredevil & Punisher) thing they have going.

I would buy that so fast!! I go with Mimic always kinda like his character. Or Mirage and Banshee!

Prowler and sable need to be in a spidey wave with solo! Cloak n dagger could be in a wave with armored daredevil, typhoid mary, foggy nelson and lady bullseye with a kingpin baf!

I wonder how much say-so Walgreen's has regarding their exclusive figures, because I'd really love for them to incorporate a fan-poll of some sort.

How about Moon Knight? He was an Avenger for like 5 seconds but he's mainly run as a soloist.

Yes please! Hell, Walgreens would be a great place to release other 'solo' heroes like that - they're already doing so with 1st Appearance Daredevil, and Classic Punisher. Let's get some other soloists!
