How brilliant of Hideo Kojima to create a hot female character that runs around on the battlefield half-naked because she HAS TO BREATHE THROUGH HER SKIN. No, Kojima isn't an immature little perv at all, the man is a genius!

I still got to finish this game...

Well, he's been making commentary on military treatment of women in many of his other games, and everyone ignored it, so he got loud about it on this one to make people notice what he's been saying and give it a direct physical metaphor.

So it's complicated.
On one side, it's a direct commentary on old military mentalities that still permeate through some areas, but in other views, yeah, it is direct video game eye candy still too.

It's a great game, a true flawed masterpiece. The true Phantom Pain is that we'll never get a version of this game that doesn't reek of corporate messling. With that said, after completing all story missions, I felt like I had wasted my time. Chapter 2 simply doesn't hold up like the first one. There's a reason you haven't finished the game yet- consciously or subconsciously, you realized it gets boring.

This is a nice statute of one of the dumbest characters of the series and gaming in general. Kojima be trolling.

Yeah I quit after MGS4 even though I think I really checked out after Snake Eater. Going back to Shadow Moses was a real treat though. The Rex vs Ray fight was just epic.

MGS1 is probably my favorite game of all-time but I tried Ground Zeroes when it was free with Xbox Gold and I just didn't care anymore.

I may print #40 off, frame it, and hang it.
