I should be blown away by this but somehow I'm just not feeling it. I honestly don't know why.

Maybe the designs aren't strong enough coming after all of NECA's other lines, I dunno.

They are older figures. They're essentially what was scheduled to be released in 2008.

They're smaller than most of NECA's output and after seeing the quarter scale figures... I think I'd be keeping my money for at least a Raph there, personally.

totally agree. I use my NECA KO's as my TMNT go-tos, with FG Krang, Classics Bebop & Rocksteady, and the Nick-toon Mousers pack... all I need is Shred-head, his ninjas, splinter, and a non-body-suited April... These don't quite work how I envisioned them... had they come out in 2008, I would have been pleased as punch, but now... ARRRRGH!!!! curses to Neca! ;)

"worst" part about them is I'd want to do dynamic poses, and with the molded skirt pieces, I'm not sure how articulated they would be. Guess I'll have to wait and hope FG makes a foot ninja set (I'm not buying a single foot ninja for $140... but a set of 3 maybe)...

I hate this exclusive bullshit. Great for collectors who can get them, but for everyone who lives outside of the US this is basically the middle finger.

I know NECA can't do anything about it, but it still sucks.

Since I'll be at NYCC anyway, I might just pick this up...these figures look way better with the comic-style deco as opposed to the videogame pixels. Besides, I've always been a bigger fan of the bag guys, so I'm not really bummed that the Turtles aren't included. This certainly opens up the possibility of a comic-style Turtle release in the future, however.

Amazing! Been wanting this Shredder forever! I have posted this picture many times on here through the years and it always sparks a conversation. Anybody that is an Eastman fan is probably having a heart attach right now lol
Seriously though, love the box art, the figures are impressive, and the price is manageable. You can even buy them online! It also looks like they added 1 more figure to the set. The foot soldier with the bandanna is new. I really dig the weapon choices. The dagger is reminiscent of the old 80s toys, and that nunchuck weapon is sick! I don't know the proper term for it. I dig the real chain too.

I'm surprised about the comments on here though. I'm shocked that some people are disappointed. You probably either don't like TMNT as much or hung up on some import or 3rd party figure that you'll have eventually. Plus you'll pay the same price or more for 1 figure as opposed to 4.

I know exactly how you feel! Living in Australia means I'll probably never ever see these, unless I'm willing to pay triple or even four times as much. I know it's great that NECA is getting them out at all, but it is hard not to be disappointed by their exclusivity. Between all of the great Con-exclusives in the US and all of the amazing web-exclusives in Japan, the rest of the world is pretty much left to look on with envy!

I was just going to ask if anyone else was having an issue finding the store. It tells me it doesn't exist. Hopefully it's fixed early ish. I cannot wait for these. I have wanted them for years. I am tickled pink that this is what was hinted at those months ago from the podcast. I can't wait to add them to the collection. I am hopeful that if their license has to only be exclusive releases, someday we may get Splinter, Casey Jones an Utrom robot and more. I realize that's probably a pipe dream but Casey is one of my favorites. Just cleaned up all my previous figures moments ago, in preparation. So excited!

Exclusives are only as difficult to get as you let them be. Make friends here. I'm sure someone is willing to buy another and ship at cost. I'm no help on this one but I'm sure there's someone who only needs one set. Ask around. :)

Since they only offer the con exclusives when they want to. Their links are never live until the product is available. They did the same thing for SDCC exclusives in previous years ( except this year).

I feel like I'm being taunted by the turtles in these pictures. I really like all of NECA's 1/12 TMNT, but I'll never be able to get them at this rate.

Woulda got two (one for opening and one for not) but I don't think I can swing it this month. With shipping that'd be more than even my rent increase! But I'm happy to have been finally able to snag a set after all this time.
