Prices on Marvel legends
Hi everyone, Im opening this thread to ask the lowest price that you have paid for a marvel legend figure (new) from a local (walmart, toy r us or wallgreens) or online store (like amazon). Im asking this question because each wave always have commons figures that I think is better to wait to pay the lowest price, but, how much is that lowest price!? (so far I seen $12) By the way, I have been collecting marvel legends for like 2 weeks, so I want to know this stuff as well xD

$5-ish for Tiger Shark at Target.
|
I didn't buy it since I didn't want it but I've seen the GotG wave Iron Man for just $5 at both Wal-Mart and Target because that figure just did not sell. Typically though it takes a figure quite a while to get that low in discount so the only figures likely to be that low are the peg-warmers that nobody particularly wanted in the first place.

3.50$ for cap wolf at a Walmart. It's funny all the rest rung up normal but this lone cap wrung up normal price and the cashier bagged him took my money and said not her problem if it was wrong

$3.89 for Wasp at Target when they were trying to dump the Ant Man wave...
|
sick prices there, I will need to scan the figures at wallmart and see if I score a $5 figure xD
|
I bought a bunch of the Ant-Man wave figures for $5 at Walmart too. I picked up a Movie Ant-Man, Wasp and a couple of Grim Reapers to customize. Marvel Legends almost never go on sale at the Walmart, Target or TRU in my area.

I got Wasp for like $6 and change. Haven't been very lucky in finding any super deals on legends.
|
I found movie Starlord at a Meijers for $6 last summer
|
The entire Groot wave movie GotG figures for $1.50 each at Walmart. All the packages where beat up really bad,but they had at least half a dozen of each except Garmora. Couldn't find her at first, but after digging I found one! Was pretty happy.

I used to hoard gijoes, and pretty much any 3.75 figure,. I just can't do it anymore. When you go to sell it later or whatever you end up trying to sell it to even cheaper people then yourself, and get stuck with things for no reason. Look at some of those POTF SW figures! You literally can't give them away for shipping! They're literally worth less then shipping! I recently saw DC multiverse 3.75" figures at Walgreens for $3,and was SO tempted, but I just figured I'd get stuck with a bunch of stuff nobody obviously doesn't want already. I bought one cat woman, and ran away! |
