These really look awesome. A great idea that is carried home via some wonderful sculpts.

This is the way I support ReAction figures in the future. They can be 5 POA, but should look like the source material.

Universe 09-22-2016 04:16 PM

Now this is a must have; grew up to this movie. Maybe they'll make a Fizgig?

redx24 09-22-2016 04:32 PM

Never seen the movie but are the crystal parts connectable??

Yes if you get 1 of each figure you can build the crystal.

Skoob 09-22-2016 07:29 PM

Hey, these look quite nice! Wouldn't mind UrSol the Chanter and friends marching along the top of my desk (alongside Yoda and Gandalf). :D

Universe 09-23-2016 04:22 AM

@TheArchivist: freakin awesome!! Thanks for sharing

This might be the first toy line in years that I will need to collect all of it. I hope Funko would eventually release Garthim and Landstrider separately as regular editions.

I agree, that's a good way to combine that retro feeling with the advantages of modern toy sculpting.

Never seen the movie
You should! I actually watched the movie this year (before the toyline announced), it's really good! I'm so annoyed that I haven't watched it as a kid, though I was born in the 90's anyway...

CrockAlley 09-25-2016 07:12 AM

I found the landstrider at TRU and it's amazing. I cannot wait for the rest of these figures!

RamenRider 09-25-2016 08:38 AM

I'm tempted to buy the whole wave, but even if money's short I will definitely try to get the Chamberlain and Ursol the Chanter at least.

I for one am really glad that I have not seen it as a kid, because I was a bit afraid of puppets. This movie would’ve given me nightmares for sure, which apparently was Jim Henson's intention behind this movie all along :D

But watching it as an adult I loved it too. The amount of work put into the puppets and models is breathtaking, and the designs and story fascinate me.

I wish they'd done that with other lines. They feel like wasted opportunities now. The figures were just too basic.

Unfortunately for me, I really only want the damn build-a-crystal from this line!

It was creepy. I saw it at the cinema after screenings for E.T. had sold out. The Skeksis were scary.

RolandofGilead 09-26-2016 04:44 PM

These are too nice. I might end up going after them all the way I did their Nightmare Before Christmas figure line.
