1/6 GoT Missandei WIP
 

This is my first attempt at a custom beyond a face repaint. I was working on a Daenerys alongside her, but I'm not too happy with the head so I have to start that one again from the beginning. But I figure people won't exactly be racing to do a Missandei custom, so at least my first custom will be a unique one lol.

Missandei's body is the Alpha Triad Hispanic body, painted to closer match her skintone. I sculpted the head myself. Next step is to curl a billion locks of alpaca hair.

Cool. I'll be watching this thread for updates. Face looks pretty close structure wise.

Progress has been slow but steady. I chose this outfit because I figured it would pair well with Daenerys' iconic blue Mother of Dragons dress. The dress is just muslin, I still need to order the final fabrics.

I feel like this has officially crossed the line between "action figure" and "doll".

Got a camera and snapped a sharper picture of her face. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the headsculpt. The last piece is still the cloak, but I'm still a little intimidated by that level of sewing...
