Anyone get the new mini NES classic?
 

Anyone pick up the retro NES classic mini few days ago? Was thinking about getting it, not sure.. hoping Nintendo will release a mini SNES, played more of that than the former back in the day. Read that the Mega Drive is getting a re-release too, in Brazil only so far.

Good luck getting one (at least this year for retail price)... Nintendo is a company who will a lot of times initially not produce a lot of a product which is what they're doing with the classic. It's a bad time too because it's the holidays so people are really scalping up what they can get their hands on. I'm really hoping that the Switch isn't going to be the same way because I'd like to get one of those at launch. Maybe I'll get one when they return back to market value but I'm not sure yet. Any who, best of luck if you want one!

No interest in it. Although it would probably cost me more, I'd honestly rather track down the old cartridges to play in my old NES.

Even if I really wanted to play those 30 games, once I did it would just collect dust. Having an emulation station means I can play any retro game whenever I want!

Plus I can play multiplayer games (up to 4 players) if the game allowed, right now you can play 30 games with a maximum of 2 players and no future releases....

I only found 2 back on Friday the 11th of November...Lol

I have been trying to get one for my kids, but I haven't had any luck so far and I won't pay scalper prices.

Try ToysRus or Target...supposedly they're getting new stock either today or tomorrow. At the stores not online though.

I thought about it. Also heard they were doing a Super Nintendo version. It's tempting, but I already got emulators as well. -_-

Some guy called Daftmike built his own mini NES with mini cartridges.. looks 100x better than the Nintendo one lol think that one was a Retro Pie also? He did a run for the system on his site not long ago..

Do you have any flash cards for any handhelds? Got a R4 for the DS Lite.. plays Mega Drive, NES, SNES (a little buggy at times), GB/GBC, Master System/Game Gear. Neo Geo can also be installed on it though haven't tried. Each rom is like under 1mb, total storage for the SD is 2gig, can store crap loads of games on it :)

Just looked this up. Lame that you can't fit regular games in it.

These are still impossible to find. If anyone found one and wants to sell at as close to cost as possible, let me know!

Mini NES is getting a re-release this summer, not sure if I will pick one up.. got the SNES classic last September, it's meh :/

What were you expecting from it(assuming you knew what games were included before you bought it)?

Games are fun there. I watch when the description of new games happens to want to play different games
