That's hilariously perfect and matches classic MOTU so well. It's like one of them retired and got an office job.

Pretty much describes the show except for the part where Zorn has a family of non-cartoon people.

Dolemite 12-09-2016 07:51 PM

Is this show any good? The commercials make it look like it could go either way.

The show does look funny as heck.

No clue, haven't watched it yet. Was too caught up with watching westworld. Too much great TV all at once right now.

I think it's okay. Some of the stuff works for being goofy but at times it veers too close to typical family sitcom stuff which at that point you have to wonder why one of the characters is animated if they aren't going to take full advantage of it.

Westworld was awesome, which is good because I like the movie so I came in with expectations that were quickly blown away. Ever since Breaking Bad ended FX and HBO have taken back over my fall schedules, Better Call Saul is my spring.

Did not know there was a movie. Going to have to check that out now.
It's borderline comical how out of the know I am on things I should know like that. xD
I think I stumbled on the movie once, but that was after hearing about the TV show the first time. Even funnier, reading up on it now. I share the same birthday as the guy who wrote and directed it. Different years of course, but still rather funny. Never knew that. Never thought to check. That's kind of really awesome. Thank you for making me look that up!

i still haven't seen the tv show but always had a fondness for the movie. always thought of it as a proto-version of terminator and Jurassic park (crichton, as well).

The movie is obviously much less philosophical than the show got to be but I still enjoy it as a classic sci-fi adventure. There are a lot of fun facts tied to the movie too. There was no book as Michael Crichton decided he wanted to go straight to it being a movie, no Westworld equals no Jurassic Park, and it was the first movie to use computer generated imagery (for the robot's vision sequences).

With as much of a film nerd as I am, I really should have known this stuff. Wow.

The Zephyria elements are a loving parody of MOTU. BUT it is a parody. Like that in Zephyria they make bag pipes out of the throats of fallen warriors.

kenm2474 12-11-2016 11:25 AM

I Love the Show it pretty entertaining. I had a Feeling figures would be close at hand.

Even on a thread talking about another show the internet can't get over Westworld. :)

That is an Awesome Show. I have the Original and cant wait to see if they show that.

BB Shockwave 12-12-2016 03:23 AM

Action figures already? When better toons like Amazing World of Gumball have none? Frankly, the show is terrible... Tried to watch it, gave up after 2 episodes.

Also, you might wanna correct the thread name as it says "SUN of Zorn" LOL :D

Zorn

I love this character. I bought a bunch on clearance and have made several customs with him.
