I'm not going to buy these figures (bills pass first:() but I like how NECA listens to fans demands and exceeds them. Truly a first class toy company that cares about collectors.

Beautiful. Can't wait for my Mantis and Gorilla to come in! Perhaps if I like them enough I'll spring for the Queen Facehugger set as well. I really hope these do well enough that NECA makes the rest of the line as well. I would love to see a Snake and Flying Queen in particular.

YES! Those two are at the top of my list as well. I'd also love to see Panther/Night Cougar and a Killer Crab as well. Man if they somehow saw fit to re-design the Queen Hive to fit with their Queen.....f***************

If only toys r us would actually fuffill their preorders and stop canceling practically every single one I make with them 7 days before they ship I wouldn't have to worry about finding these guys...seriously does anyone else have this issue with them?

Guess I'll just have to bite the shipping cost and go for bbts or someplace else

I've never preordered from TRU, as I just wait until they show they are in stock, which series 10 now shows. I'm fairly confident my local store will get them, so I will hold off ordering for now. The only figures I order online are the horror ones, because my store never gets them.

On that thought..

Just picked up the Ripley/Newt 2 pack in store today. It's really great.

I ordered a Mantis and Gorilla this morning and got a confirmation so I'm sure it's safe to order now.

I am all over these when I see them at retail, I cannot believe how much they managed to improve on designs I already thought were top notch! Love the tubing coming out of the Gorilla's eye sockets!
Neca committing this hard to the old Kenner line gives me a lot of hope that we'll eventually see an updated Alien King and Flying Queen, fingers crossed!

Thanks for the kind words on the shoot everyone. These are excellent releases and you can tell I really enjoyed shooting these. I'm really hoping they get to do a few of the Kenner humans too.

Well except for Bishop, who isn't a human anyway but still his Kenner toy was weird especially the super cheap edited character image.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I got a shipping notice for my Aliens from TRU, so whatever issues they were having with the listings (as far as preorders go) seem to be resolved now.

Does the Gorilla alien have different legs than the regular NECA Xenos? I feel like they're too long.

Nope his legs are the same as the standard warrior aliens.

Which would explain why the proportions don't look right. Too bad. I really wanted this when I heard about it. When I saw it at SDCC, I thought it looked off. Now I know why. Legs are too long.
