Great photos Tony, it's cool seeing all those Vegeta figures next to each other. This new figure is pretty much perfect, still a shame that they didn't bother to include a regular, non - Super Saiyan head.

I'm very much looking forward to the upgraded Saiyan Saga Vegeta they showed off during the past two months.

Still this newest one is not different enough over the last (non god) release to make me spend that on this version of him.

I don't own any Figuarts, but the change in articulation scheme (hips and rib cage) give the impression that this one will produce more natural posing options.

Yeah, they wanna get ya buying multiples so you can swap heads. :)

In hand, it is very different. Articulation, and face sculpts, all that. At a distance, similar, but in hand, very different. Now that I've handled both, I'd definitely say an upgrade is worth it.

I see what you're saying tho, if I was casually grabbing randoms in the line, I'd be ok with the original recolor if I already had it.

oh i'm sure it has much better articulation and it SHOULD be better...
but sitting on my shelf in a pose....it's the same damn figure to me after the fact...
It was really a dick move on their part to release the newer color version..and then sneak in this. Smart, business-wise I'm sure..but still a dick move..heh.
Because OF COURSE i would have purchased THIS version...it would have been a no-brainer...
but they will not get me with the "Vegita:...Gotcha-Bitch"

I was just reviewing stuff for the Jump Off page, and a lot of existing stuff is getting redone. If not exactly, partially.

Trunks got his Saiyan Armor, with new tech.

SS Vegeta gets a redo here.

Cell Saga Gohan gets redone, battle style, new tech

SS3 Goku getting redone with new tech

Saiyan Vegeta getting redone with new tech

And Yamcha has potentially reuseable gi mold parts for the Goku onslaught of re-dos that I bet are coming.

As for exact redos of all the previous Vegetas - it's possible. If they do the Saiyan Armor, it'll be easy to do the anime colors one. I'd bet SSGSS Vegeta waits a bit, maybe pop him off once Super stuff gets more filled out.

Ah I guess I will have to upgrade now, anyone know a site where I could sell my premium color edition Vegeta? He's 6 months old

the re release almost everyone with premium colors and no regular super saiyan goku not even the head.

i just want a better head and a updated body
