I was thinking about starting to do action figure customs. The way the eyeshape is with a total full repaint of everything I think it could look like Chris Pratt. :D

It's closer than I initially thought, but the eyes sort of kill the hope of familiarity.
Unless you're going for "Star Lord after he just sucked a lemon dry", which is what that expression says to me.

Yeah I know the eyes kinda throw it off XD If I did a total 180 even repainting the eyes and skin all that jazz do you think it could work?

I think it's worth a shot, but I'm no customizer.
The important question is do YOU think you can make it work? Honestly, if you measure the facial features and perma stubble befitting any proper buffet of manliness, it's not that much of a stretch. How long did it take you to find a worthwhile likeness in another figure? Because wow, that dude is obscure.
The eyes really do shatter the illusion that he could be anyone else, for me. If you're able to make it work, then go for it! Good art is taking chances sometimes.
