Definitely an interesting idea for a Predator figure, but I doubt it'll look good in-person. Should be interesting to see what all they do for this line. If they do a good normal Predator for the line I might get that.

They showed on Twitter that the 7 figures of this 30th ann. line will be 4 Dutch figures, the jungle demon camo predator, Gort predator, and a maskless regular predator with the open yelling mouth. All of the predator figures will be on the new ultimate body. When asked Randy said that the maskless predator would basically be the ultimate but minus any swap-off heads and far less accessories, also it will not be battle damaged.

Here's the image that NECA posted on Twitter that reveals the entire 30th Anniversary line. The line consists solely of re-dos and re-releases of existing figures, including the old Gort Predator (AKA the original design of the Jungle Hunter's mask until the studio rightfully nixed that idea, claiming that it was a spoiler because it looked too much like the Predator's actual face).

Honestly, I'm bummed because - even though I knew it wasn't going to happen - I was hoping against hope that Dillon or Blain would make a surprise appearance in this wave (sadly, Carl Weathers remains a bitch). Aside from the Ultimate Jungle Hunter, which I'm totally going to buy the shit out of (a removable backpack? Do they mean his medical kit?), I can't get excited about a wave with zero "new" characters.

That said, this is awesome news for people who missed out on these figures the first time around. The Dutch figures are easily some of NECA's best work ever, and it's cool that all the versions of the Jungle Hunter are getting upgraded to the new Ultimate body.

Well I am bummed because I will be spending at least $125. On the flip side, I have zero Dutch figures so YEAH! I am loading up on these guys! I was kinda hoping for a water emergence but oh well.

That demon Predator looks freaking awesome, I will def be picking him up and if all these guys get the "ultimate" treatment I will be getting those Dutch figures as well. I'm just really hoping their QC gets up to snuff

The Dutch figures appear to be straight-up re-releases...no new articulation added, nor is it really needed. Those figures are awesome as-is.

I will gladly get a muddy Dutch and one of the other variants, can't say I'll be getting them all cos' I would otherwise just get the one and be done. The only Dutch I ended up getting was the TRU final battle two pack that I FORGOT I had just sitting in a cupboard that is super bloody and awesome! So I may end up getting whichever one comes with the best accessories. Not to forget the Ultimate Jungle Hunter, can't wait for these.

I'll need most of these. Only one that may be worth a skip is the unmasked Jungle Hunter, as the Ultimate version should be that and more. If it has enough different, then I'll pick it up without question. But the Gort, Jungle Demon and the Dutch figures are all on my must get list.

While the Jungle Demon looks great, the rest of the wave (with the Gort Predator being one of the secret "reveals") kinda leaves much to be desired, especially since the Gort has already been released twice himself (as a Lost "Guardian" Predator and as an SDCC exclusive.) I'm all over Jungle Demon though.

I was kinda hoping that we would have received the insectoid, mantis like concept creature that was played by Van Damme in the original film before it was dropped and redesigned in favor of the creature we all know and love today. That would have been a treat.

I will maybe pick up the Jungle Encounter Dutch since that is the only one I missed out on. Although I am curious about the unmasked Predator and why it exists with the Ultimate Jungle Hunter coming out. Logic would dictate it would have to at least be a battle-damaged variant, but NECA ain't always logical.

Wait, will all of these be released in that window box packaging? I would love it if they would switch to that for all their figures, so I can save the boxes and display them as fake MIB. With the blisters you kind of have to destroy the packaging to open them.

The Ultimate Jungle Hunter and one Dutch re-release would’ve been enough honestly.

Just to be clear, Ultimate Jungle Hunter is considered a separate release from this anniversary wave? Is it coming out before or after?

Ultimate JH is a separate release. Not sure when it is set to come out or if it will be before these though.

I know there are mixed opinions on this wave, but as someone who got into collecting the Predator figures a bit late, I'm happy about it. The only Dutch figure I have came from a TRU 2 pack, so I'll be picking up all 4 of the ones here, along with all the Predators as I don't have any of them either. I hope this wave sells well and they consider upgrading more of the older figures and releasing them in a similar fashion.

While this is probably a pretty crummy wave for people who've been into this for a while, I like that NECA gives new collectors a shot at some of these releases. The second hand market can get brutal after something's been out of print for a few years.

I'm interested in learning more about that open mouthed Predator. He was never released as a single carded figure, so maybe they're doing something new with this one. Either way, I might pick him up because that headsculpt is not only underused but it's also quite cool.

What movie is Gort from? I have not seen seen him on screen before.
