Yeah, I don't understand why Mezco would make the most desirable variant of this figure limited to just 400 pieces, and on top of that, give no notice about when it would be available for preorder. I woke up this morning, saw the article on Toyark, went to preorder, and it was sold out already. Disappointing.

We need to call for Mezco to make a bigger run of this, like we got them to uncancel Knightmare Batman.

Agreed. There is a ton of anger over on their Facebook page over this. Lots of people saying that they're going to cancel other Mezco One:12 preorders they have and give up on the line. I just don't understand why they would limit what they must have known would be the most desirable variant of this figure to just 400 pieces, and on top of that, not limit it to one per person. I'm not even that active on the toy forums and even I know that people really wanted this.

They're kind of in a bind now though, since they've already stated it was a limited edition of 400. If they reissued now, those who were able to get it would probably be upset. Maybe if they made some minor change to differentiate the two, even just a packaging change.

I'd be ok if they reissued him without the web gear and with a more tube-style traditional Punisher belt if they're going to call it a Classic and not just a repaint.

Honestly, I was one of the lucky people to get one this morning, and I wouldn't be upset in the slightest if they reopened it and bumped up the production numbers so that anyone that wants one can get one. If someone is the type of person that gets upset because more people have a chance to get what they want to make them happy because it screws up their perceived value of the figure, they should be ashamed of themselves.

It's one thing if it sold out a few days or weeks after the pre-orders went up, but lots of people expressed interest in this figure being their definitive choice for Mez's Punisher releases. The time between announcement and sell out was TINY, with a bunch of collectors stuck asleep in bed for the entire duration of the email going out to it being no longer available. That ain't great.

I honestly hope they open it back up, or cancel bulk orders from ebay scalpers. Give people a reasonable chance to get what they want.

I'm all for that. Also interested in the all black Toy Fair exclusive Punisher Mezco showed in their emails.

I agree with this 100%. I got lucky a saw a poster comment about it for the toy fair exclusive give away and quickly went to their page and sat an alarm for when it went live. I don't get why the hell anyone would make so few figures and then not have pre-order limits. This is just bad planning. Hell, I'm lucky enough to be one of the ones who have the figure pre-ordered and I'm ticked off.

Should we flood their customer service with complaints?

Those suspender straps look to bulky and his cold look jus doesnd match but ah wish that hand gun holster on his thigh came with my black version

If it worked to bring back Nightmare Batman, I believe it could get more classic punisher.

In the comics, I wonder at what point did his features go from the Mike Zeck/Jim Lee/Whilce Portacio look to looking like a villain from the 90s Dick Tracy movie.

So there is now a Wait List for Classic Punisher. I signed on, but have no experience with Mezco orders. I know with Sideshow, you're almost guaranteed to get an item if you're on the wait list. I'm not so sure here.

Considering it's limited to 400 units, and there are people selling multiple pre-orders for $160-250,I'm really not sue.
