GI Joe and Thundercats creator dies at 84
 

Stanley Weston the creator of Thundercats and GI Joe has passed away at the age of 84. Thank you so much for making my childhood a great one. im a big Gi joe fan and will always be. I used to have many toys as a kid but my favorite was always GI Joe (3.75) He didnt only invent Gi Joe & Thundercats he was the person who invented the 'action figure' itself. this forum is here because of him. RIP my friend, i wish i would have met you.

RIP but, I'm pretty sure Ted Wolf created the Thundercats.

ted wolf did the cartoon not the figures. plus he was the one who invented the 'action figure' so that tops anything...
