Anyone in the UK know the best place to get Legends? I can never seem to find any in store... Anyway, my son will be after this one!

Forbidden planet, In Demand Toys, Kapow toys.

Just to name a few, us UK collectors sometimes get blessed with waves of figures in normal stores, which is highly annoying,

What's the deal with Hasbro mismatching the colors on the inner elbow pegs when it comes to Spidey figures? Is it really going to break the bank to apply a little bit of paint to the other side of those pegs so that it doesn't break color with the rest of his costume?

Thanks, I'll check those out :)

I've come across a few Legends in discount stores like Home Bargains, but never any in demand figures...

Hasbro probably considers it more effort than it's worth to put blue paint on the inside portion, it's faster and easier to just leave that piece all red. That or maybe they just don't want to risk paint-locking the elbow joints so nobody will break Spidey's arm off. I don't consider it a ruining feature but yeah seeing those red circles on the inside of the elbows on pretty much every classic red-n'-blue Spidey is enough to be bothersome.

I like the head sculpt on the Civil War Spidey better, not that any of these are bad.

Spider-Man Homecoming Marvel Legends Tombstone Photo Shoot Spider-Man Homecoming Marvel Legends Tombstone Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

astrakhan 06-28-2017 01:33 AM

The Tombstone shoot needs one more picture of him with the new female Beetle since she's his daughter.

hazzbrojonez 06-28-2017 08:48 AM

wow look at all that movement! he can almost do a mafex/figuarts pose! almost! lol
/sarcasm

man i saw this whole friggin wave all weekend EXCEPT for this spidey. vulture sculpt looks real good. almost grabbed home-made suit spidey but he had a blob of red paint on his pants

Dr Kain 06-28-2017 09:32 AM

Those web wings look so much bigger on the picture on the box. Also sucks that he doesn't come with web crawling hands, so I will pass on this Spidey.

Tombstone though is amazing. I am so glad I bought him.

Dolemite 06-28-2017 11:48 AM

Classic Beetle is one of the highlights of this wave. Just got him in the mail and he's awesome.

That's right! Yeah, we need a pic of 'em together. :)

deecee4 06-29-2017 07:30 AM

Whats up with his shoulders...theyre set really low as if he was a Mike Mignola character. I noticed that on some Black Series figures as well but, it seems way more obvious here. I think the designers are aware of it too cause the shoulders seem to be different on the pic for the back of the box.

never mind lol, i take that back. was able to pick up the wing-suit spidey and its excellent! i got that figure in a lot of wacky poses. so never mind, this figure is capable of many poses!!! i was REALLY impressed. havent picked up a spiderman figure since the OG black spider man from the first hasbro Legends waves. prolly gonna go find that new black suit spiderman

I love it and was able to get mine into a really nice low to the ground crawling pose but be aware that the figure has a problem where many of them have stuck shoulder hinges. They can still rotate at the shoulder and the butterfly joint is fine but the hinge is extremely tight or straight up stuck.

Moon Knight is now up for your viewing pleasure.

Spider-Man Homecoming Marvel Legends Moon Knight Photo Shoot - The Toyark - News

Harbinger 07-12-2017 08:57 AM

Have to say moonknight, despite the outfit which ive kinda warmed up to, is easily the clear winner in the wave for me.

scarecrow 07-12-2017 10:45 AM

Moon Knight looks friggin AWESOME! I wasn't a huge fan of this costume for some reason, but it'd still be hard to pass him up if I saw him in the wild. It's a damn shame the 3.75" version doesn't look anywhere as good.

En Sabah Nerd 07-12-2017 11:41 AM

Moon Knight is my pick for the wave. I'm hugely biased since Moon Knight is my personal favorite but putting those feelings aside it's a great toy. My only gripe with the toy is that the right shoulder on mine is heavily hindered in its hinge range because of the armor. I would have preferred a different costume choice but this figure is too good not to recommend to others.

Dr Kain 07-12-2017 01:44 PM

I saw Moon Knight at Target the other day and passed on him. Tombstone to me is the winner of the wave. Oh, and I found a Beetle without helicopter arms.

Dmar1994 07-12-2017 01:45 PM

"Cons:none" You sure about that? The Moon Knight figure looks like its have knock knees in the standing photos. Which I suggest heating it with a hair dryer to help that issue.

Tombstone is great. My Beetle had good shoulders, guess I got lucky there.

Dolemite 07-30-2017 07:11 PM

En Sabah Nerd - thanks for posting the Beetle/Tombstone pic. Missed that, it's great. lol.

And I couldn't agree with Destro any less on The Beetle. It's a character I (and a lot of other people) was looking forward to getting, so to call him "filler" is unfair. And the figure itself is great and pretty complex compared to your average ML fig. Easily one of the highlights of the wave.

And speaking of his so-called "helicopter arms," I wasn't aware there was an issue. I guess I lucked out, as my Beetle is fine, although his left wrist is a little loose.

Thanks for the compliment. It was a bit of a trick to get her to balance on his back without assistance because of her wings but at the same time it was also easier than I was expecting.

I think Beetle (Abner) is fantastic and like you the shoulders on mine are fine. I know a couple of folks here on the Ark reported theirs having loose shoulders and obviously that would suck some of the fun out of the figure so whether it's luck or not I'm a happy camper.
