That ROM Spaceknight... Yikes... He's got a molded on watch painted silver and wrinkly pants! I get parts reuse is the name of the game but there had to have been better options right?

I've been waiting for a reboot Matt Trakker forever!

I'd be willing to go halfsies or quartersies or whatever with a group of people on this set. I want jetfire and I'm sure there's some MU/ML collectors who want Rom and the Dire Wraith. Etc etc

Yeah, the Rom is pretty bad the more you look at it.

I dig that Action Man. That's about it though.

Oh how i hope that there's a Visionarie that's hasbros way of saying the toy line is coming back.

Usually I would flip out over a new Matt Trakker, but it's the new IDW version. Pass! I may have still wanted him if he had Thunderhawk. Otherwise I'll stick with the single carded version I got years ago. It's the original Matt Trakker and he didn't cost and arm and a leg to obtain. ROM is not that great at all! Sad too because a lot of people may have bought this set just for him.
It's a cool set, but too much money for what it is.

While it's clear as the sun this forced cinematic universe of all Hasbro brands isn't going to *work; it will be either too stupid or too complicated, I had a great hope for the toys. They just made souless, lazy cheap copycat of the original toys without keeping their unique feeling and/or gimmick! I don't understand Hasbro and Mattel stupid logic and behaviour when they put most of their effort and money on marketing instead of the toys. Let the product speaks for itself! They're TOY comapnies, they should make good toys for heaven sake.



*I know they done this in the past with Transformers (making one of the most stupid story premise ever and even within it, it seems unbelievable), but this just too much.

Everything about this set is so much yummy. Want so bad.

My only complaint at is Rom's shoulders looking like there's some kind of other gear that's supposed to attach there.

Really hope they do a retail release of many of those still too. Though Rom needs new upper thighs.

Want that Matt Trakker figure so bad for my collection too!
Really wish this set could be at TRUs too.

For Rom, if they were going to use webgear over a body piece anyway, they should have stuck to some of the more form fitting limbs. And the arm sculpts are completely wrong too.

Hopefully this is a tease for the convention circuit, and a more accurate 4'' one is in the works for later. But everything else, and even the Rom headsculpt. So much yes.

That's what I want to know? Why is it okay to just change the race of character like it's no big deal? Companies can pull this liberal pandering bull*hit until they are blue in the face, but I don't think it really pans out too well in the end. How many fans will they lose to gain a few?

Yup, they changed his race in IDW comic last year. I remember seeing all the original cars on the cover, and I was like "finally, something that hasn't been changed from what I remember"
Soon as Opened the book I was like, "wait, what did I miss" lol

One dude on here said "I've been waiting for a reboot Matt Trakker forever!" not sure what he meant because I only remember them changing him last year. Waiting less than a year doesn't seem like "forever" to me. Plus he wears almost the same thing as the original Matt, the shin and boot armor are the only other real difference.

Never heard of ROM, since when is Matt Trakker black, and that looks nothing like Roadblock. On the other hand, the Visionary looks awesome (except for the lack of the hologram symbol) and Skyfire is cool despite having the wrong face.

Snippy? I just wondered if he was changed before the IDW book. When you said "forever" I thought I missed something from a while back, it definitely made me Google Matt Trakker to see what I missed.
He only changed back in September 2016 from my memory, that's when I picked up Revolution #1. Sorry, but that shouldn't seem like forever.

Because its lazy name slapping. Because matt trakker was white. They coulda made hondo the new leader or had matt be part of a bigger organization and his boss be black. I think its mainly fans are tired of seeing race/ gender swapping of long established characters as it does not truly expand a brand/line/product and just panders to the vocal minority.

True expansion comes from creating NEW characters not just lazily slapping a pre-established character's name and history onto a different body.

Roadblock is from the short lived renegades tv show line. They'd reelased all the major characters except him ( he was supposed to come with the truck they drove in but it got cancelled ) and the mask on jetfire comes off ( was done as an homage to the dw jetetfire and old 80's VF-1S head of the old G1 toy ) for a more toon accurate head, thank heavens. :D

I agree with you 100%! I don't need Batman to be Jew so I would like him. This action does more harm then good, what it actually implies is that white male characters are better.
