With a new movie line, there's always role play toys. Usually, they're reused Nerf blasters or cheaply made, and undersized melee weapons. With the Optimus Prime Battle Blaster Sword, I think Hasbro has finally made a decently sized and fun role play toy. The transformation between the two modes is smooth, although I'm disappointed by the weak spring in the sword blade. The lights and sounds are fun but don't overpower the toy. If you're looking for a fun add on item for a Halloween costume, this is worth a look.
