I was hoping for some more comic-themed Marvel Select figures this year. Lame.

Diamond has said that they have more. Probably holding them back for the panel.

CasualCollector 07-20-2017 12:11 PM

Anyone else holding out hope for a Marvel Select Logan figure now or at some point? I hope they reveal one this weekend.

Tomax 07-20-2017 12:45 PM

i like DS products but they are going down the wrong path, they keep pushing minimates and statues, smh. stick to your quality figures. sidenote: am i the only one who thinks gladiator hulks big hammer looks horrible? what are those things popping out on hulks hammer? the axe seems like a better weapon for that fig.

Right on, that's great to hear!

Batman 1966 Busts

Don't know if this is the right place to ask, but is Diamond Select Toys continuing the 1966 Batman Bust series, have not head or seen anything for a while? Is there anything at SDCC 2017?

Gmonkey2k 07-20-2017 06:32 PM

Just an FYI for the Minimate fans here...THe ..The Quake figure that is shown is actually DST's first....BAF!

Only Lady Deadpool and Spider-Gwen at comic shops this year. Plus the GOTG team. Maybe another Disney exclusive later...

We've discussed some ideas. Nothing on display. Robin statue is coming up, and Shakespeare bank hits today.

SMH. We don't like to put all of our eggs in one basket. And we can only produce so many action figures per year, especially with Marvel. Minimates do well, and so do statues and our PVC figures. Many kinds of fans out there.

Hammer is based on the movie.

No plans for a Logan, or any Fox movie toys for the time being.

SpasticPlastic 07-26-2017 12:56 PM

Is the Gotham line going to continue?

Understandable. While I imagine you can't comment further, that does seem to be a situation mostly outside of your control. Which is sad because I'm sure you guys could have made a great rendition of Logan.

The Spider-Man Homecoming figure looks great. Though I wish you guys were doing a Vulture to go with him. Others will inevitably disagree with this, but even a Vulture without his wings would be cool imo. Especially if you could secure access to Keaton's likeness rights for it.

The Gwenpool statue looks good. Though she's a character that I hope to see a Marvel Select of some day. Preferably with an unmasked head as an option. That's the one big thing missing from Hasbro's Marvel Legends version of her imo.

I so want that Batman Beyond statue.

Robogeek28 07-28-2017 05:58 PM

Gonna be needing that MS Gladiator Hulk methinks.

If Series 4 does well at TRU and comic shops!

Oh, and I forgot that the BAtgirl vinyl bust bank was on display at SDCC.
