Lamborghini Countach - 80s - Not RC
Hi!
I'm not sure if this is the right place! In the mid-eighties, in Australia, I was given a present which was a grey, Lamborghini Countach, made from plastic...It was around 30 cm long... It ran on batteries but had a pretty unique feature...it wasn't remote controlled, you 'programmed' it with one of half a dozen yellow plastic 'discs/plugs'...you opened the engine bay and popped one of the discs in, say the one for driving in a circle, or the one for figure of 8...press go, and off it would go... My Mum can't remember it and, at the time, I hated it because I'd wanted an RC Lambo. and my Mum had royally let me down...haha! Anyway, I'm now a teacher and I think I could use this toy to demonstrate fundamental compute coding principles to young learners... I can't even figure out what search terms I should use!!! Please help!!! |
In the good name of fundamental compute coding principles, May I suggest BIGTRAK
Same era, still available, more functionality and deeper programme options. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Trak |
