Kinda really like the new Kylo Ren costume.

What's with the red chess pieces behind Kylo? Is he reenacting a commercial for the Marines?

I don't like Rey's new look; I love it!!! And that snarling face is excellent.
Kylo looks a bit like a scuba-diver in his helmet without the robes but that shot of him kneeling in front of the red guards has me needing to reenact the exact same scene on my shelf.
But hell no to all the stormtroopers and Phasma.

I love that Rey figure. And I'm assuming the new Phasma is the shiny, chrome looking one?

I pre ordered Phasma and the Judicial Trooper on HLJ.

Those guards I want the most (they all have the same sword so it's just helmet design and alt weapon to decide) Rey looks really good too, I'll probably get this Rey over Black Series, Kylo Ren is great. Also I'm so glad I waited on buying a import Captain Phasma, because this one a has a little more to it

Ordered Rey, Kylo, and Phasma from HLJ this morning. I'm staying away from the New Order Troopers (for now).

Where the heck is a Last Jedi Luke?

Any idea how/where to pre-order these to qualify for getting the BB droids? Is it just Bandai's online store, or is it any retailer?

EDIT: wait, never mind, it seems some retailers are putting up separate listings for both figures to qualify plus the droid. Anyone know if AmiAmi makes you pay upfront for pre-orders? Are they the best place to order from, or HLJ?

Dammit! I thought Rey came with BB8 because it was in all the pictures. Now how the heck do I get him?

Amiami doesn't make you pay up front, but the 2 packs are sold out there (and HLJ). Still available at Anime-Export but they will charge up front.

Buy the Kylo and Guard 2 pack. Or eBay after the fact.

Iam the first one who asks them for KH Play Arts Kai Figures,
once they are available for Pre Order from Square Enix, and then buy them
as fast as i can & pay for it before the Price gets higher.

I also did that with Rey and Kylo Ren - asked them yesterday
bought both Figures today, 40$ each + Shipping cost of course.

Their prices seem pretty good, but they don't have the bundle bonus BB droids.

I don't really like any of these honestly. The troopers are boring at this point, and I don't like most of the new outfits. Rey is cool but that's about it.

And selling the droids with two-packs is awful. Just include BB-8 with Rey and the others with fitting characters. But I guess they needed the extra incentive to sell those troopers.

They don't do that, at least not for Europe. What they do is sell you the thing like every other retailer, but they don't glue a bill to the outside of the package and massively undervalue the contents on the shipping label, meaning if customs has a really lazy day they might just let it through without checking on it any further.

Depends on the country I guess, here I sometimes get lucky but other times they still let me come and pick the package up at the customs office with the bill and then they charge me.

But I can definitely say that NY is not including any customs duty in their price. Maybe you live in a country where toys don't get charged with import fees to begin with or you used some special shipping method I'm unaware of?

Yup, those guys are known scalpers. They always keep a few of the really good selling figures to themselves only to sell them on release day with bullocks prices in hopes someone desperate buys it. Really shitty tactic.

That is not correct, because i live in Germany.

- You must choose "Transi Logistic" as an Shipping Method.

- Then they add "VAT" Value added Tax Sum to your order. That is the Customs Duty Price, the Customs would take from you.

- They Ship the Package to France, and from France to Germany.

- That way, they "Betray" / Avoid the Customs, at least here in Germany.

- Because the Customs can not claim a Package, that comes from inside Europe itself :D

A very very good Tactic in my Opinion, because Customs are mostly Assholes.
They are angry for every Package, that they can not..."Steal" away at the Airport.

I do this for 3 Years already, every Package has been delivered right to my Home Door.
Hell, i saved so MUCH Money by Pre Ordering the Kingdom Hearts Play Arts Kai and Mafex
or S.H. Figuarts from them.

Betray / Avoid Customs, and offer damn Cheap Price on Pre Order is not a shitty Tactic in my Opinion, it is a damn good one.
Yeah, you have to be fast, Pre Order Fast, Pay Instantly after the Order.
But for me, i saved a lot of Money all over the Years.

The Prices for Play Arts Kai keep rising after the release, when i see Mafex, Bandai, PAK Prices after the Release

Cancelled my Phasma pre order. Evidently, her and the FO Stormtrooper are already available in Japan and her chrome finish still doesn't match the advertisement pics. It's shinier than the original version but not by much.

Ah, that, now I remember. If it works then great but it doesn't matter much to me since I only buy one or two Web-Exclusive Figuarts from them every year, and those mostly get through customs unharmed since the packages are small.

For everything else I'd rather use an actual retailer instead of a middleman service, for customer service alone.

I meant the scalping when I said "shitty tactic", not their shipping.
