Joe, separate question: By any chance do you know when will the exclusives for hascon be available on their site?

Unfortunately, at the moment I do not. Sorry.

Bearjew 09-08-2017 09:26 AM

Joe, I have seen pictures on Marvelous news of what appears to be a 12 inch Sandman. Can you confirm?

HasCon 2017 - More Marvel - New Legends Wolverine and Prototypes - The Toyark - News

Boogieman4hire 09-08-2017 11:51 AM

Finally. The face I've always wanted to see on a wolverine.

Bearjew 09-08-2017 12:02 PM

I agree about the face, finally looking like Wolverine. Does the face on the white mold wolverine look different to anybody else than the blue mold (In pieces on display board)?
I think they are different. I know the white mold looks to have sculpted arm hair while the blue mold does not.

The yellow mold is also different. For example, the blue mold mouth (Wolverines left hand) tapers more closed while the white (& yellow) mouth is more open. Could this mean more variations?

Phantomcrow 09-08-2017 12:26 PM

I want to know if X-23 will have an unmasked head??

Exodus 09-08-2017 12:31 PM

I just realize I need that X-23 to go with my X-Force collection...ugh I may need to track down that Warpath 2 pack one then too sigh...I'll probably buy this whole case on BBTS...

hasbroherofan 09-08-2017 12:32 PM

Total nostalgia.

graphyt 09-08-2017 01:22 PM

Oh man. That head sculpt and the arm texture look too good to be true. I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't the 12 inch. And if they hit all those matte and semi gloss colors; I'll happily buy him.

(I hope this post doesn't come across as trolling - it's certainly not meant to be)

I used to collect marvel legends back in the toybiz days, though have long since sold them off, but the pics of cable, apocalypse and the brown wolvie reissue at SDCC (I think?) got me really hyped for them again. I picked up a bucky captain america from ebay, still packaged, to dip my toe in the water, but I have to say, it totally put me off getting any more. It was mainly the type of plastic used I think - apart from various limbs coming warped out of the package, the whole figure just feels 'bendy' almost, with the knees the worst suffering joints.

Is this just how they are made? I remember it a little from the mls I had, maybe, but in my head they were a whole lot more sturdy and used much stiffer plastic. I'd really like to pick up a decent figure of wolverine and some other key characters, but was just totally put off the in-hand experience - was that just a particular figure or wave, or is that just how mls are now?

In the interests of not being totally negative, though they were let down by the plastic/build quality, I was really impressed with the sculpt and accessories in general.

Does that mean Space Venom is getting a solo release?

I think they're just showing off the prototype sculpts.

hasbroherofan 09-08-2017 02:25 PM

Yeah, Kraven and Bleeding Edge Iron Man sculpts were shown as well.

Joe Moore 09-08-2017 02:49 PM

We'll round up the new Marvel Panel as it ends. Collecting the info & pics from the team as I type this.

todigandbedug 09-08-2017 02:49 PM

ANAD Iron Man 6" ML announced during panel. Serpent Society King Cobra also shown.

Though Hasbro Marvel Legends do occasionally suffer from somewhat gummy joints, in my general experience, they've felt quite sturdy, and not as fragile as ToyBiz MLs. I think if you're looking to get back into MLs, pick up some of the ones that interest you and see how you like them.
