i REALLY like this. Still probably not something i'd purchase. But i think they did a fantastic job at capturing what Obi would like like during that period.

i know there is a book out about that period...think i might go read that.

Don't know if there's a book, but Disney did greenlight a movie to be made about Obi-wan during that period. It's going to be the one released after the Han Solo movie, or Episode 9, depending on whatever the release schedule is. (Assuming one shot movies like how Rogue One was released between 7 and 8.)

Gotta admit this figure makes me even more excited for it.

that sounds about right for a "Hot Toys' type figure.

Actually, the average price for an average Hot Toys figure is still sitting around ~$230. Sideshow has really been jacking up the prices on their figures recently, to the point where they're even more expensive than Hot Toys on average, despite being generally considered to not be up to the same level of quality as Hot Toys.

Do that! I've actually read it myself recently and I enjoyed it. There's a bit of a lack of Obi-Wan in it if you consider how the book is named after him and how his beardy McGregor-ness is printed on the cover but it's highly enjoyable nonetheless.

It killed me back when the statue came out and I couldn't afford it... It's still quite expensive but now I'm definitely getting it. Does anyone know when it comes out?
