OOOOHH...neat.

I was a little underwhelmed with the Samurai Iron Man. Maybe if this gets to clearance prices I'll pick it up sometime. The paint scheme does look good and I'm glad they added enough retooling to justify the price and make him different enough.

I think the problem here is that it's not immediately obvious who/what this character is supposed to be. All of the others immediately made me think "Oh, that's a samurai version of <super hero>!", whereas if this guy wasn't standing next to the others I'd probably have no idea he's supposed to be a Feudal Japan version of War Machine.

All I'm waiting for is the Daredevil, Wolverine & Hulk concepts they showed to come to life. Looked so good. But I will pick this one too.

It will include a stand? That I'm curious about, no other MR figure has before as far as I know. Iron Man didn't.

Yeah, says it includes a "dedicated pedestal", which none of the others had listed before that I can recall.

I just hate the war-nipples...after Batman and Robin people should learn that armors with nipples are not a good idea.

I mean, it fits with the Samurai armor aesthetic. Samurai armor (especially in the era where it was getting more ceremonial and elaborate) often had elements like that.

I agree for an European armor like a Roman armor or even a gladiator armor. But, a samurai armor? No way

I've been to many samurai expositions on museums, I train Kenjutsu, so, I always go to every Japan-related expo and I can say for sure that I have never seen a Samurai armor with nipples. Again, for an European armor it is more likely, but for a Samurai's armor, at least in my experience, there is no evidence of nipples in their armors, actually, the design of a samurai armor makes it impossible, but for the European style or is more likely to have them.

I admit you're probably more knowledgable than me, but I didn't say they had nipples. I meant they had decorative elements along those lines. Even if no historical samurai armor had nipples specifically, it's not thematically out of place when there are samurai armor with fully-formed noses and mustaches.
