Best place to find accessories for old figures?
Hi guys I have some old Kenner Real Ghostbusters originals and the Kenner silver Robocop but have lost the accessories. I'd love to get the proton packs with the weird string laser things for each Ghostbuster and Robocops helmet and pistol. Any idea other than ebay of where to get parts like this? Seems everyone on ebay sells complete or severely overcharges for the accessories.

Collectors often have a bias against it, however, I find eBay to be the best place to find odd things. EBay has amassed such a large variety of collector/sellers, finding what you're looking for becomes limited only by your ability to construct a simple (yet effective) search phrase.
I culled 200+ hits with this simple search: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...sories&_sop=10 Now, because you are often dealing with 'collector/sellers,' you can often end up paying through the nose for nostalgic items. |
You may have some luck on ebluejay. I have learned to bite the bullet and just buy the cheapest acceptable part on ebay though. In the case of Robocop, it’s probably about the same to buy a MOC carded figure (totally unverified)?as it is to buy the two parts. What you’re asking for is really actually hard to come by cheap.
