ouch !

not a fan of their interpretation this time. I was expecting Cap to be A LOT leaner (whats up with those legs ???!!!), plus I kinda hate that costume/face. Based on these pics, its a pass for me :/

OriginalFire 10-12-2017 09:58 AM

I love these figures.

Sniper1 10-12-2017 10:03 AM

The Deadpool they made got me interested in the line. Spiderman got me to purchase, Wolverine is up next for me. I can pass on this Cap without hesitation, might circle back for Venom though.

Boy Blunder 10-12-2017 10:08 AM

Honestly wish I had the money and display space to justify buying these figures. They hit right in the sweet spot of stylization that I love about the Capcom-made Marvel fighting games.

That said, Cap's "neutral" face, specifically the mouth, looks... really awkwardly painted.

RamenRider 10-12-2017 10:41 AM

That's the worst one so far IMO. Aside from the beefcake proportions which are up to everyone's own taste, the heads look rather silly. Especially with that Charlie Brown frown.

Oh well, now that that's out of the way, Iron Man when? I'd really be up for a silly 90's Iron Man with metal abs.

metalalchemist 10-12-2017 11:42 AM

Not the best leg choice for this guy...

dukefett 10-12-2017 11:44 AM

I like it and will get him. I love this line and will probably buy almost anything they put out, but I did skip Spider-Gwen.

Toonstrack 10-12-2017 12:19 PM

This face is def better than that ML facesculpt so looks like Im buying

Tomax 10-12-2017 01:05 PM

thats what ive been saying since they started this line. all the legs on these figures have female thunder thighs. they can still have really good articulation without those big sized legs. its been a pass for me since their fisrt fig with this line which was venom.

Probably a good move. That unmasked head sculpt was awful!

What was awful about it? The head was a typical anime girl face..considering it's made by a Japanese company for a Japanese audience, that isn't out of line.
Personally, I think the figure might be their best release so far and I don't even give two shits about the character lol.

Hicks_Royel 10-12-2017 03:27 PM

I like that it's the Marvel vs Capcom line I always wanted... with none of the Capcom

If they ever make a DC line in this style though...

I Thought deadpool was the first figure to start out this series?¿?

Mumble-bee 10-12-2017 04:50 PM

those arms are really, REALLY awkward. Especially in the group shot.

ehh. I already have a Capcom-style Cap from ToyBiz, it's not bad, but nowhere near this level of detail.

TimespliTT 10-12-2017 06:17 PM

I like what i see. I am glad revolted didnt die and they are making figs again. But this shouldnt be $75

Yeah, it started with Deadpool, then Spider-Man,Venom,etc..

Dr Kain 10-12-2017 09:48 PM

That is one ugly mother...

I may not be a fan of the Revoltech stuff, but their Marvel figures have been pretty cool looking up until now. That Cap just looks awful. Was he based on that Rob Lifeld art with the elongated chest?

His head looks way too small for that huge ass body. His arms are like twice the size of his head.

Her unmasked head is way too small, doesn't look right IMO. Anime or whatever, looks out of proportion. Not really a fan of the masked head sculpt either. Probably the eyes that bother me. Sorry, not a fan. I like the character, just not this figure.

Hi,

you should import it directly from Japan. I just pre ordered it for 5500 yens. (42 euros/ 50$) with the shipping and tax. Your US prices on japaneses figures are always insane.

Face-Off ML Cap is definitely a lot better aesthetically (proportions) without any real compromise articulation-wise. And it even holds up as far as detailing goes.

dukefett 10-13-2017 07:35 AM

Up for preorder at HLJ/Anime-Export/Amiami. About $46 at current exchange rates.

Toonstrack 10-13-2017 08:51 AM

Preordered, better price than i was expecting.

I'd completely forgotten about that figure, thanks for the reminder (I hadda look it up). I have both versions.
