Lego Simpsons help

So I'm getting my g/f the Lego Simpsons house for her birthday and saw that there are other characters that are sold in individual packs. However, I'm having trouble finding exactly how many figures came out and how to get them all without paying oodles of money. For example, there is one set on Amazon of like 15 figures, but they want $100 for them, which is outrageous for Lego figures. Hell, that's half of what the house costs. There is no way in hell that price is legit.

There are a few sets/lots at eBay. But since I don't really follow Lego, I'm not sure of how current they are - waves and prices.

Just ask her which ones are her favorite characters so you don't have to get them all.

There were two series of Simpsons minifigures, of 16 characters each, in mid-2014 (when the house first came out) & mid-2015 (when the Kwik-E-Mart came out). It's long enough ago that the collector's market has inflated prices, which is typical for the minifigures, especially when they're licensed (check prices on some of the Star Wars lego figures). They retailed for $3.99 a pack, so that's about $60 a set when it was new, and anyway BrickLink would be cheaper than Amazon.

So, you're looking at 32 figures if you wanna get them all.

What's Bricklink?

oh, sorry!
Bricklink.com is an international LEGO marketplace, where you can buy parts, figures and sets new & used from other LEGO collectors. While I haven't actually bought anything there myself (more of a "no room in the budget" than lack of desire) I've noticed the prices are better than if you find the same thing on Amazon or ebay.

I have both sets complete, well almost, I'm only missing Apu from the first set...
