There are some slight differences, richer colors. But essentially the same thing as the original. He was getting pricey for official versions, so good that the masses can get one again relatively cheap.

The only worthwhile change I can spot are the painted hinges on his shoulders so they blend in better with the purple dome-pieces on top, the rest is personal preference I guess.

But I feel like they could've reworked the joints while they were at it.

Price is a bit steep too considering he is rather small and seems to lack the base the initial release came with, yet is in the same price range as normal sized figures with an equal accessory count.

As I miss the original version this will be an instabuy!
I hope to see see his other forms some day too.

well it seems that this one has less accessories than the first and one of Friezas heads id different

See, I still can't tell if this is a new version of not.

It looks cleaner than the original.

If it has the same proportions as Golden Freiza it might be worth getting.

This one has a bunch of blue highlights the original didn't have

In Dragon Ball Z, Frieza transformed through four forms. He's generally referred to as "Final Form Frieza" when shown in his fourth form.

His golden form, or "Ultimate Evolution", came years afterwards with the Resurrection F movie.

this is being released state-side, right? Haven't seen pre orders yet, and amiami and hlj are sold out already
