So red dp is the baf-less fig and only comes with two swords? No guns...no alternate heads........ No alternate hands.....not even a lousy sai. I hate to say it but....laaaaaame.

MeLikeJinx 01-26-2018 06:42 AM

I know they got 2 DPs, so they had to choose one to have a BAF, but I don't want to get another Deadpool just to complete Sasquatch. Ugh.

Really looking forward to this wave and the upcoming X-Men.

VashTS 01-26-2018 08:35 AM

They phucked the crap out of the red deadpool. His head looks a bit big....only 2 swords, no BAF....hahahhaha....

WHY HASBRO...WHY!!!!???

Yeah, that's a weird decision. There's two DPs in the wave, one should have gotten the BAF piece and the other the extra guns, yet X-Force DP gets both?

Snowflakian 01-26-2018 09:05 AM

They've got X-23 in here, kind of surprised they didn't do the Messiah War old man Deadpool to go with her.

because that's the one figure in the wave that Hasbro KNOW will sell, because that's the Deadpool that everyone recognize.

Parademon1 01-26-2018 10:22 AM

Guess majority of you don't realize that's a late 80s-early 90s 1st app version of DP & back then he was mostly a sword wielding merc who utilized handguns when needed. He didn't have 20 guns & tons of ammo pouches on him back then. Think that extra crap came in the mid 90s. He also wasn't as wise cracking as he is now. He was written a bit more like his DC counterpart, Deathstroke but with a bit more humor. Now he' a Merc version of Spiderman. Personaly, I prefer the earlier version of DP over what Marvel has turned him into now. Love & own the DP movie & looking forward to the sequel but wish they'd tone down the humor a bit but that's my opinion.

As far as this wave is concerned, it's one of the best waves Hasbro has ever done IMO. Only characters I will be selling off is X-23 & X-force DP as I just want the classic version of DP. I really could give to shits about X-23. Now that they're out in the Philippines , I'm hoping someone puts that awesome Sasquatch together & posts pics of him standing straight up next to DP so I can see if he is at least 9 inches tall. Contrary to what most seem to be saying, he only shares a few parts with Manthing, I think he has a totally different torso & will be at least 1/2 to 1 inch taller than Manthing who is 8' tall.

Gotta have him of course...but, he's too tall to display with the new Legends IMO. I keep him MOC...

Agreed....but you got to see the humor of that mostly empty box.

EvilMonkeyPope 01-26-2018 04:39 PM

It bothers me that Deadpool has the logo belt buckle introduced in the Joe Kelly series when the costume/build look inspired by earlier appearances.

Touché.

redfox 01-26-2018 08:18 PM

Looks like the X-force Deadpool is not an exact re-release of the HasCon version. The new X-force figure seems to have the molded straps on his wrists and ankles from the Classic Deadpool, while the HasCon version had painted-on straps.

Good eye! Great attention to detail.

He also comes with fewer accessories...

An no extended pinky finger on this version of DP, which I'm glad for.
