I know this is not the usual stuff you see around here ;)

I bought the first Doctor only to get his jacket and took off Jack's coat.

I changed the lapels with Milliput and also added sleeves so his shirt sleeves could look out from under the suit, as it should be.

And then the paint and glitter of course! This custom was inspired by a suit he wore on stage once.

Awesome man, how’s that miliput to work with? And whats it feel like once dry, is it durable? I’ve worked with super sculpty before, but I didn’t like how fragile it was once it set up. Like chalk.

Milliput is awesome. It's easy to work with and pretty much dries like rock. You can sand it, but I've never had any break or crack. Takes paint great, too.

Thank you! It's really amazing what you can learn in fandom. Thankfully I had a friend patiently answering all my questions and showing me her stuff. I hope one day I can be the guide for someone.

Thank you very much! I only have experience with Milliput so can't compare it to any other things. But as it is said here:

it does dry hard indeed yet even after drying you can still file and cut it further if necessary. You do need to mix the two components well though. It comes in two pieces and you need to knead them together for several minutes until well blended and getting sticky.

I prefer the white kind as it is smoother than other colors which are more grainy.

I guess I need to get a new set, my leftovers are some years old and don't blend as well anymore, and therefore after drying get brittle indeed.

Fair warning. YES indeed, Milliput (ultrafine white) does dry hard as a rock, smooths/cleans up with water (even cures underwater!) before it cures...but...

...as has been said, you must knead it THOROUGHLY for at least 5 minutes or it may not cure and will never dry. Five minutes seems like 5 hours sometimes. I've gotten impatient and have had this happen to me once or twice. Really enhanced my vocabulary...not in a good way!
