looking for a generic businessman figure
hello, Im pretty new to this whole forum thing. im a sculptor and would love to get into toy modding. for now im looking for a few cheap businessman in a suit figures. any clue where i could find some?
thanks |
Well it depends on how big of a guy in a suit you want? Marvel legends has used the same suit body for Agent Coulson, Tony Stark, the Chameleon, Purple Man. just in different colors. They tend to look smaller than a normal hero figure body since they are not in a armor or leather outfit.
If you are looking for a bigger suit body there are a lot of them in the WWE toys. Triple H, Kane, Vince McMahn , Rick Flair, JBL, Paul Haymen, J & J security 2 pack ( these guys are smaller than a standard wrestler) , just to name a few. |
thanks! that was really helpful, i was at a loss on where to find some. any clue where i could find some like the wwe figures but cheaper?

A lot of the wrestling figures are good options, however a few other recommendations I would have.
1. I'm not sure what size range you are talking about, but the Doctor Who 5.5 line of figures is pretty fantastic and has a lot of people dressed as business people, both men and women and not just the Doctor as well. They are made by a company called Character Options and they do a really good job. They have a 3.75 inch line and a 5.5 inch line and a quick amazon search should give you some results. I particularly recommend looking for the figure of the master from series 3 when he was elected prime minister. There's a 5.5 inch figure and it sounds like it would fit your needs perfectly. 2. Both Max Factory's Figma line and Tamashii Nations' Figuarts have completely blank figures that would be very easy to paint a suit on. They are absolutely perfect for any kind of custom and I have a custom Korra made out of one. 3. Speaking of Figmas, there's a few that might fit your needs. The downside to figmas is that they are a bit expensive to use for a custom if you can find something cheaper that does the same thing, but I'd recommend looking for the following figmas to see if they'd fit your needs. Yakuza: Kazuma Kiryu, Persona 3 Makoto Yuki, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Kyon, Durarara!! x2: Shizuo Heiwajima, Fate/Zero: Kiritsugu Emiya, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Itsuki Koizumi. The other downside of figmas I should warn is that they are mostly of anime characters so you do have to work with funky hair. 4. Just do a quick amazon or ebay search for Bruce Wayne action figure or Tony Stark action figure. There's quite a few of them and most of them are going to be in some kind of business attire. I'd recommend the Arkham Bruce Wayne figure but I believe it only came in a five pack so you'd have to find it open box on ebay or something. |
i had no clue that there were so many business suit figures, thanks for all of the help!
