Man, is that Stormtrooper a lazy,poorly thought out design or what?

Finally! Someone did the logical thing and made a dirty stormtrooper! I never figure how these troopers kept their armor so glossy white all the time. Must be that special Vader motivation...

I also like the cape. I hope he's unique and gets interesting things to do in the movie and not just a nice-looking stand-in.

The Stormrtroopers on the Deathstar were on a military station in the middle of space thus they were glossy. The Stormtroopers on Endor weren't as glossy and have a layer of grime/dirt to them thats appropriate to their environment.

I'm guessing this trooper works in a spice mine but still, a solid design principle is 'if everything is ____ then nothing is ____' meaning you need areas of contrast to help emphasize the thing you're trying to emphasize. This trooper is pretty much uniformly dirty and would've benefitted visually from having areas on his unform that were dirty, intensely dirty and not very dirty. As it is right now, it just looks like someone customized a Stormtrooper. My 3 cents.
