At this point with Mafex....I need to simply start a Mafex fund...strictly for Mafex figures...

ANother must buy...:koopa

This will be my second Mafex figure. I got a Spiderman from the second movie awhile ago and the QA was crap. Lots of QA misses and i havnt gone back to them since. I will let Master Wayne decide if i get more or go back to my original thoughts on Mafex. Hope Im wrong!

It’s been awhile since ASM 2 and Mafex has certainly been inconsistent with QC and design choices in the past but recently they’ve really upped their game (along with the prices.) They’re close to overtaking SHF in my eyes. I just wish they made more Star Wars and Avengers figures. A Mafex Prequel Trilogy Jedi would be amazing.

Agreed. Lose the jacket entirely. If there's a version with vest and white shirt with rolled-up sleeves ending at elbow joints, I'm in.

Mafex is a Japanese toyline, I had a piece of Sushi years ago that fell apart in my hands... Correlation? I think so.

Seriously, when the fuck are people going to stop bringing up Mafex QC issues? Every god damn thread, I swear.

Ventus 04-11-2018 10:55 AM

Mafex ONCE had Quality Issues.

Trust me, i own MANY DC Mafex Figures.
I can confirm that even the Amazing Spiderman Mafex Figure had some.

But the latest Figures of that Company;
Knightmare Batman, Batman Begins Suit, Batman VS Superman Figures,
Batman 2.0 did not have any Quality or Breakage Issues at all.

They made good Progress over the Years.

To be honest, they include an Unmasked Head in almost every Super Hero
Figure they released, while all S.H. Figuarts / Bandai assholes
do not do this anymore.

6" Inch Super Hero Figures with unmasked Head Variants in Package
and almost 0 Quality Issues; Perfect.

Iam still happy with my Batman Begins Mafex with Unmasked Christian Bale Head
Soooooo damn accurate!

I have already Pre Ordered BvS New Superman Version, Batman Tactical, The Flash
without any hesitation.

When it comes to Super Hero DC and Marvel Figures, for me, there are only 2 Companies
for that Choice: Mafex and Mezco
Figures from that Companies are accurate, while S.H. Figuarts are NOT Screen / Actor accurate anymore.

same. From the thumbnail (or a quick glance) he looked like a wizard figure, cloak and wand and all...... :D

However, I am still tempted as there has never been a decent Wayne figure, imho. No one seems to ever get it right.....

Tomax 04-11-2018 04:15 PM

i want a bruce wayne figure but definitely not afleck, dont like him. i wanna get a bale/bruce wayne.

I do not know if they will ever create Bale Bruce Wayne, but the Mafex Batman Begins Suit, with an unmasked Christian Bale sculpt
is the best you can get in my Opinion.

But still this Figure looks awesome.
The Unmasked Mafex Knightmare Batman Head Sculpt already did,
but this is even better.

Mafex has no Quality Issues anymore; in Fact, i realized
that the Quality became better, when Mafex started to use
their 3D Head Sculpt Printing Technology.

Before that, Heads were Painted by Person and MANY Figures
had Breakage Issues also. The Figures became better the time
they used the new Technology.
