Wow this is a surprise, didn't think they would do a part 5 ultimate. assuming it will be an ultimate, this might just be the best year for Jason fans with 1/4 scale part 4, part 2 ultimate and now this, Great work NECA!

Finally! Hopefully this is a tease for Roy...and not Jason from the dream sequence, who would end up being just a slight retool/repaint of Jason from part 4. I've been wanting a standard Roy for a while. I loved the 8 inch Mego styled figure!

Loudly hoping that it's an Ultimate Part 5 Jason/Roy, but silently preparing for it to just be a Mego Tommy Jarvis.

Hmm...if it IS a tease for an Ultimate Roy, that would be a surprise. I'd totally pick it up, but I would question NECA's logic in doing Roy before Part 7 Jason, which fans have been requesting nearly non-stop for ages now.

I doubt it's Tommy Jarvis...if NECA were to make a Tommy figure, it would be the Part 6 version, which fans have also been asking for a lot. I don't think a lot of people are requesting wacky Part 5 Tommy (and I don't think this is a Corey Feldman tease, either).

I've actually always been a fan of the "dream" Jason from Part 5, what with all the blood and worms all over him and whatnot. But yeah, I don't see NECA making a figure of that Jason any time soon.

I was thinking Corey Feldman in his yellow raincoat. They already have a child-size Mego body and I doubt Feldman would demand much for his likeness.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed it's Ultimate Roy. Part 5 and 8 are the two Jasons on my wishlist.

Man, I don't want to get my hopes up that it's Roy, because this set looks very specific to the opening dream sequence from 5. If they were going to make Roy I'd assume they would use the knife and cleaver and shears, not an axe or Jason's wooden grave marker from the dream sequence. I could see them making the dream sequence Jason since it will take the least tooling to make. Here's hoping it IS Roy though as he is one of my favorites.

Very cool! It could very well be an Ultimate part V Roy. Anybody checked the ebay prices for Mego Roy lately? Holy cow! I’m up for anything, dream sequence Jason was sick! Worms coming out of his eyes, dirty mask, he was cool! He even has that blood drip mask in the later dream scenes. Personally I would be more into an Ultimate Roy...and you know many people are gonna pop a Michael Myers head on the body if NECA makes one ;)
A Jarvis/Jason set would be amazing, but I doubt it’ll happen. If they made Georgie from “It” Tommy from “F13th part V” would be easier to produce. They both where the same outfit, NECA could reuse the mold.

That would indeed be an amazing set, and probably the only way we would ever get our hands on a Tommy Jarvis figure. It could happen...after all, remember the recent Aliens 2-pack with Burke?

Corey Feldman just has too much going on right now. I doubt he would even approve anything, if he can even be reached.

Really? I’ll bet Feldman would sign off for 5$ and half a sandwich. I don’t get a super booked up vibe from what I hear about his life.... if they do a tommy figure I hope it comes with an alternate shaved head.

Oh, and BTW, I'm talking about Part 6 Tommy, not Corey Feldman's Tommy. If a Tommy's getting made, Part 6 is the one to do, especially with the videogame and all right now.

Even better the Demon spawn children from the Ash v The Evil dead 3 pack are perfect for part 1 Jason and could possibly double as Tommy. Randy has said there's not enough potential for other characters so i doubt we will see anyone other than Jason, perhaps Roy and hopefully Pamela.

That said, if they could knock together a generic 80s victim pack that could be good. Generic male and female victims in 80s attire packaged with skulls and limbs. Would fit all the horror lines and wouldn't present issues with licensing. Also, if we get the Tom Savini Jason at some point that would be awesome!

Never happening, sadly. It's already been officially stated that the licensing deal for the game with Gun Media/Illfonic (publisher and developer, respectively) prohibits any merchandise from being made based on it, including action figures such as Savini Jason or any of the counselors. :(

Of course, Tommy Jarvis could still be made as he was already a character in the movies. But in that case NECA just doesn't feel he'd sell enough to be worthwhile, which I personally don't agree with.

It would be sweet if they did the biker gang from part three, or any victims box set. With interchangeable hacked off limbs, crushed heads, impaled faces and such.

Sounds to me that the power behind that deal doesn't like money because a Tom Savini Jason would no doubt sell like hot cakes. Given how well the EU aliens/predators sell i imagine the EU horror stuff would go down just as well. Such a shame.

I have no idea what the reasoning is behind the specifics of the deal, but you're not wrong...figures based on the game would probably sell really well. I'd love an A.J. Mason figure, personally.

HOLY SHIT. It IS Dream Jason! They actually went there!

This is actually very, very cool, although I would not have been bummed by a Roy reveal, either. I see they're re-using the Part 4 buck, which is fine and makes sense, but those accessories...! I mean, I was holding out hope that if it WAS the Dream Jason there would be a mask with worms coming out of the eyes, but they actually DID it! And FOUR MASKS, including the cheesy movie poster one? lol, so cool.

Kudos for throwing in the Part 4 alternate "battle damaged" hand with the machete cut. I was annoyed that the 1/4 scale figure came with that and not the regular release, and this is a great way to get it to people.

I seriously LOVE this figure. I'm actually looking forward to this one more than the Ultimate Part 2, if you can believe it. I've always just really liked the look of Dream Jason, and I can see myself getting a few of these and displaying them with the different masks and all. Fuck yes, NECA!

Yeah, I'll be getting 4 of these. Have to display with all the badass heads.

I really hate how NECA is shitting all over this license. The masks are cool, and I dig the tombstone, but outside that...what are the incentives to paying full price for a figure barely touched?

I'm sure they would chalk up some excuse with some kind of comment like, "Mego Roy didn't sell" or "there is no demand for Roy..." but seriously, was there a demand for Silent Night Deadly Night figures? Guillermo Del Toro figures? A figure for Hawkins (when EVERYONE wants a Dillon/Blaine/Billy?)
