Help ID this toy truck
2 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know anything about this toy? I saved it from when I was a kid and now my sons love it, but I know nothing about it's origin. Thanks in advance and sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

Is there any company information on the bottom?
|
Details on bottom:
It says:
1982 Remco toys inc. made in Hong Kong patent pending |
It looks sort-of like a Stomper 4x4 (line of battery-powered trucks from the early 1980s), but Remco didn't make those.
I'm assuming it's battery powered due to the switch on top. The only relevant time I can find is called "Power Command" which appears to be a remote-control thing. how big is it? |
It’s less than six inches long and three inches wide. Two AA batteries power gears and the switch on top moves it either in forward or reverse.
|
I think it was in some way related to the Power Command line. There was a line of small low geared off roaders with a lever on top. Like I said my mind keeps thinking Power Command, but the main one of those was a larger RC vehicle.
