Would you buy the Azbats armored Azrael?
 

I loved Azrael and thought he was a refreshing change as Batman with the armor, gauntlets and metal cape. Would you spring the $12 for him as a DCUH figure?

Even better, he would make a great BAF with all the extra parts like his gauntlets, cape, claws etc.

As a BAF, he'd have to have 5 figures I totally liked for me to get all the pieces. Azrael was never one of my favorite characters though I did think he spiced things up occassionally. I haven't been able to find the figure of him in the 2-pack with Batgirl so I suppose I'd get a figure of him but it would have to look pretty good.

I think it would be pretty cool. I remember when Superman was tying to get a look at him but couldn't. He knew something was different about him but wasn't sure what.

Eh, I think there are a hundred other DC characters I'd rather see before AzBAts, but I'm sure he'd sell.

Personally I'd rather see a Jason Todd figure before Az but DC's marketing can be twisted at times.

I would like to see the corpse of Jason Todd from a Death in the Family :)

If they go with him I'd rather it just be a normal figure, I think there are better BAF characters out there. I'd buy it, sure.

Now be reasonable, Flint. Jason was no more nutty than Azbats before his 'death'. He makes a decent Red Hood now I guess.

I'd be tempted. I actually had nothing against the character or Knightfall / Quest / End. I kind of liked the more sci-fi look to him, too.

What would be nice would be if there was also a version of the initial form with the cape rather than the spines - I dunno, maybe have the two interchangeable? I know the body armour changed a little but I think it would work nicely.

Yeah I'd probably pick it up. I always did like the look of Azbats.

I would definately be all over a figure of AzBat. Before that though, I would rather see Mattel fix their crappy distribution.

I'd buy both versions of AzBats, plus Azrael in his final white costume!

And if Hawkman and Ares can be regular DCUC figures, so could AzBats.

Hmm, I don't think I ever saw the white costume. Though I stopped paying attention to him much after the whole Knightfall mess.

I'm a casual DC fan so I would say, no I wouldn't buy it. I think it would sell but I don't care for a figure of someone posing as Bats.

Here ya go! It was probably supposed to be silver, but it always seemed to me to be colored like it was glossy white.

I've never seen that costume before either but his old one had a lot more character.

Thanks! Must have been toward the end of his series run. I think I may have a couple issues that crossed with Batman or something. As a normal character I think Jean-Paul had a lot of potential but they just made him too unstable or something during Knightfall when he filled in for Batman.

I would plop down money for any and all Azrael related figures that get made.

I would be down for an AzBats. Never cared much for the first one, but the armored one would rock!
