Is there any difference apart from the extra sword that does not come with the regular version?

That's awesome! Glad to see Super mini-pla branching out more.

Looks like just the sword and box art are different.

So it's about $44 from Japan, $60 from American Eshops, and $70 on the show floor with an extra piece.
I really hope at this point somebody recasts or just plain recreates that one effect part b/c it's freaking awesome, but not $25 awesome.

Classic. Even if I love the new Voltron on Netflix, this old style and the words: 'Form Blazing Sword' still resonates from my childhood!

This is the first SDCC exclusive I actually want. Shouldn't be too much of a pain to grab at the show right? No sellout expected?

You know what, when this Voltron was revealed a month or so ago I thought it looked pretty awesome. I also liked how the lions looked like lions. Today that changed when I saw this picture:

That just looks terrible. Hopefully they just mistransformed him and the legs don't have to actually stay out like that as that ruins the whole asthetic for me.

Oh yeah, and the black lion head did not look that small before.
