Oh, man. You could make an entire line based on this series. It would be huge. How has this not happened? WarHammer 40K needs a figure line.

Always loved 40K... Never really got into miniature gaming though as I couldn't stay motivated enough to finish painting! Awesome statue though and I agree, figures would be amazing.

I'm thinking 1/18 scale, so the marines could be taller than the imperial guard, but also so there could be huge tyranids and chaos daemons etc.

Imagine accessory/weapons packs with chainswords, bolters, flammers, plasma guns, thunderclaws! freakin power hammers!

Damn, maybe it's a good thing 40k figures don't exist, I'd go broke for sure.

Totally appropriate scale for these guys, too bad it ain't appropriate for my two bedroom apartment. 1/6 scale would have been nice, oh well.

Indeed. There's a Russian customizer on Hisstank who's actually made a pretty awesome Cadian Shocktrooper with Marauder Task Force parts (which will probably look even better when the WWII Russian figure becomes available in their store next year):
