Would you rebuy every figure if done vintage style?

By vintage style, I mean done with all the added articulation and old school packaging.

Imagine every character getting that treatment..that would be awesome. I still want a better version of General Veers!

kaeae 12-09-2008 10:58 PM

yes...if they were 25th joes price ;)

Flint 12-10-2008 08:05 AM

It would be cool, but I'm just content with new star wars fgures.

trebleshot 12-10-2008 06:28 PM

Give it enough time and I'm sure Hasbro will get around to it. I would probably pick up the versions of the ones I had as a kid, but I doubt I'd get the whole line. That is, unless they also do something like include exclusive coins, slides or BAF droid parts with them. Of course, that would defeat the purpose of vintage packaging.

Flint 12-10-2008 07:07 PM

Maybe they'll do that for the 35th anniversary or something.

I would be very tempted, but, probably not a lot of them.

I would by a Vader though.

Ktulu 12-10-2008 07:46 PM

With all the SW toys they make, I think pretty much *anything* imaginable would have a chance of making it to shelves

I'd buy a few like that, but like Optimus Scourge, perhaps not the whole line.

The quality of those figures were great. It was wierd what they did with the distribution of those waves. I mean the first wave and the last wave where everywhere. However, the Boba Fett wave was almost non-existent. I would like to see more vintage style figures. For some reason Hasbro finds them unprofitable and had cancelled it. I say just don't over-produce them. People like to buy them if they appear to be anything other than peg-warmers.

Would buy more now if the legs had more poseability. Ball jointed at the hips, or like the DC figs at least. My poor clones can't strafe

Oh heck ya!
I'm dumping most of the figures that I have now that do not conform to those standards.
Recently got the Evolutions Ten Numb B-Wing Pilot. I also got the TAC 4-LOM with the nice articulation. http://www.rebelscum.com/TAC414LOM.asp
