New Mafex Marvel comic figures from Wonderfest Summer: Medicom follows up their comic inspired figures of Gwenpool and Spider-Man with Deadpool and Venom!

Yeah, I was hoping they would do a Venom to go alongside their excellent looking Spider-Man!

I think Venom should be a little bit bulkier since it looks like they're doing a straight up McFarlane version.

I am really weird about the Venom proportions on that style figure. I much prefer the monster style venom. This is the first time I have ever seen that style that I like. It looks absolutely perfect. Everything looks proportionate. It just flows. I wonder what accessories it will get.

It makes me wish Hasbro would do the 12 inch figure like this.

Never been a Gwenpool fan, but I actually like that!

That very possibly looks like the best Venom figure ever made - but I'm a huge fan of that McFarlane look. Looks very classic.

Neat, I've never seen that costume before (to be fair, I don't read the comics), but it looks cool. I like the cape!

I prefer the more humanoid style over the Hulk-like monster Venom becomes from time to time but yeah, this figure is really well done.

For accessories I want to see an alternate head with the tongue out, maybe an Eddie Brock head too, and he needs to have hands with magnets on them (and magnets in his feet) so he can stick to metal surfaces just like their Comic Spider-Man figure.

Fantastic looking Venom figure! I wish Medicom would distribute in North America so we wouldn't have to import them ourselves.

1.) What scale are these figures in?
2.) How much do these figures usually run for?

These figures are in the 6 inch scale. The Spider-Man comic figure measures 6.1" and I would imagine Venom would be close to that, maybe a bit taller.
Price wise, The Spider-Man comic figure is listed for pre order on Big Bad Toy Store for $95.00. I believe the retail price is $75.00 US but the figures have to be imported to the US from Japan as Medicom does not distribute the figures here. So there would most likely be import fees associated with it, thus the higher price on BBTS. I think you could order it from Hobby Link Japan for the $75.00 price but may also incur the import fees yourself. I'm not entirely sure how that works as I've never ordered anything like this directly form overseas.

That Venom looks perfect to me. I'd love to have him and the Spider-Man, but I just can't drop a hundred bucks on a 6 inch scale figure. I have a couple of the Suicide Squad Harley Quinn figures from Mafex and a couple of Figuarts too, and they're great, but the main reason I got them was because they were half price or less. I doubt that Spider-Man and Venom will come down in price thst much. Maybe I'll ask Santa for one :D

Is that an extra unmasked head for Gewnpool? She has one in the pic with long hair that I've never seen before...originally she was revealed with her usual shorter hairdo. I hope they didn't change the heads she comes with.
