Well, Spirithalloween is selling one for about $50. I bet with a bit of paint it could look pretty much the same.
I am getting the feeling that lately toy and prop companies just want to take advantage of collectors. The recent price increase in almost everything is begining to sound a bit unjustified, at least in my opinion.

Looks good, but I’d probably only pay that much if it was fully operational.

I adore Ghostbusters, but $500 for this? No electronics, no tube connecting the pedal and trap. It doesn't scream $500 to me.
