Posting just to be able to post
 

Getting that spammy text thing, trying to post in the trade section. Apparently I have to post 10 times elsewhere to be able to post there? Cause there sure ain't any spammy words in my post, and I'm not trying to post any links either. So my only recourse is to post garbage posts like this ten times so I can do what I signed up to this site to do. Not a very good first impression, I'll tell you that much. Not very welcoming.

Nothing to fix. It prevents thousands of spam accounts from flooding the forums with nonsense on a daily basis.

Well if there was another forum that served the same function as this one, rest assured I would be there instead of jumping through these hoops just to post. Such a welcoming environment here, sure makes me glad I signed up.
