I've been checking the Disney Store site off an on for the last few weeks, so I'm glad there's finally a date range in there. One quick correction though: all of the blast effects come with the Stormtrooper. The Zuckuss and Phasma don't have any effects, just their weapons.

I absolutely hate that Zuckuss is a Disney store exclusive, I have none around me.

I went in there this morning and asked a dude if he knew anything about any of this...
After not being satisfied with his answer I went and asked a manager.

Phasma looks okay, but I think it's been too long between the movie and release. Glad to see Hasbro including effects to move the dead figures.

Glad Zuckuss is dropping state side finally. Been floating at TRU Canada for a bit and it's been torture waiting.

So I pickup the new Iron Man Marvel Select from the Disney store today..and the cashier leaves the box just sitting on the counter.
I'm like... "can i have a bag"..she says would you like to buy one..
i say..NO.. she goes..well we are going green and we don't give out bags anymore unless you purchase one. I'm staring at this chick like she's stupid like....can i just have a bag please.
But yeah...NO...they DO NOT give you a bag for your merchandise unless you buy one.
Under the "guise" of 'going green'..they now make you purchase bags for what you bought. ESPECIALLY in NYC which has tons of tourists...
i call BULLSHIT for real...and am beginning to HATE some of the current practices by businesses.

Charging for bags is pretty common nowadays. Even Walmart charges 5 cents per bag.

Good news about the TRU figs making their way to Disney Stores for you guys. Hopefully Canada gets them too, because not all TRUs have them.

Was this the Disney Store in Times Square? I was there 2 weeks ago and was massively disappointed :D

I posted it in another forum Thanos. Disney is doing away with plastic bags...because you reasons...They EXPECT you to buy their bags from now on...kid you not. I don't see me buying Phasma and then buying a bag for it.

It's where we are at unfortunately. There are other plans which I will not divulge...because last time I gave some insider info, Toyark banned me from the Hasbro thread...lol Good times.

Because that "insider info" sounded like the ravings of a crazy person.

They seriously are...but people don't understand the POWER of our spending dollar....if we STOP spending because of it..they will change with the QUICKNESS!!



not sure where you are from but I shop in stores ALLL THE TIME..and I have NEVER seen this before so to say this is common is ehhhhhhhh...
My Walmarts..while getting worse and worse...don't implement this practice yet...but it wouldn't surprise me.

Been that way for a while at my local Disney Stores. At least a few months now. And it's not a plastic bag they're selling. It's a pretty big reusable one (like you get at super markets). I just started bringing a bag from home when I head there tho. Not really a big deal.

So he's nothing more than wallpaper.

Man disney is just nickel and diming peopke everywhere from their parks to their stores. Seriously thats some bs man. Anything to make us consumers spend more money unnecessarily.

I disagree. I'm in NYC and I'm all over the place. There have been times when I had popped in on a whim and bought several smaller items..or times I stopped in and ended up Christmas shopping for the little ones in my family. That is a HUGE inconvenience to not provide a customer with a bag an essentially FORCE them to...or else continue to walk around NYC holding merchandise.

I have LITERALLY purchased thousands of things over my lifetime, so yes..this is a huge inconvenience on my part to all of a sudden be required to PURCHASE a bag.
Many times (now when I'm seeing business practices that ONLY benefit the store/company) I wish i could take my business elsewhere....but for particular items...sometimes it's the only choice.
