I'm sorry, but that just looks like a shrunken-down version of NECA's 2017 Pennywise (with uglier joints) for 3 times the cost.

I mean it's well done and all but it literally has nothing over the NECA version besides maybe slightly more joint range

I might be wrong, but to me this one seems to have better body proportions than the NECA. I think I'll get one and see for myself!

ouch, neca vs. mafex

Hopefully this means we'll be seeing more American movie monsters out of Mafex/Figurarts in the future. Outside of the MonsterArts Xenos and Predators, and the various Bishoujo statues...I can't remember the last time we received one of them out of Japan. Revoltech Jason maybe?

I'd take a Mafex Jason or Freddy in a heartbeat. Heck...hell...if Mafex is worried about fan interest, just give us a part 7 Jason. They would be laughing all the way to the bank while Neca scratches their head.

I have the Neca version of Pennywise, but if I didn't, I would take this one over it. The proportions do seem much better, as do some of the headsculpts, and I'm willing to bet I could pose this one without fear of it crumbling into dust in my hands.

I’m seeing this for over $100! That’s insane! I’m not happy about the eyes either, no light up feature, so that’s just misleading. The figure doesn’t look bad anyway, but I do think the balloon may be too big. Shame they didn’t offer up an accessory that NECA hasn’t done...it’s almost all the same heads and accessories. For $100, a whole bunch of red balloons would have been a cooler accessory.
