Mattel Working On A Dino Riders Toyline And Entertainment Property?
 

First discovered by TF@TM, Mattel has applied for a new Dino Riders trademark at the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

The trademark is for the categories of ENTERTAINMENT, MOVIES, TELEVISION SHOWS, WEBISODES, ONLINE CONTENT, ONLINE GAMES.

It is likely that a toyline will also follow.

I'll believe it when I see it, especially with Mattel involved. Hehe.

I think this is just an instance of Mattel maintaining their hold on the copyright and not so much that they're going to start a new expansive franchise. The bigger companies tend to keep a stockpile of names,concepts and ideas so that no one else does anything with them.
