I want to be optimstic, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get delayed. Also, why not show us the prototypes instead of just tell us what we already knew?

Nice to know they can do somebody other than Godzilla finally- even if it is Legendary Mothra. I really wish Neca could get a hold of the rights to the rest of the Kaiju. I'm dying for a Showa Gigan, Megalon, Anguirus, King Ceasar, Titanosaurus, etc etc etc that will look good with my Monsterarts figures...

NECA will have rights to any monsters they do in the future. I guess we should just hope for good interpretations in the future movies.

Hopefully it's a new mold instead of reusing the 2014 mold. The proportions just seemed off on the 7" version.

Anyone know if Neca can do past monsters such as MechaGodzilla?

No, only if they are shown in the new American Movies. That's as far as their license goes, although I will be thrilled if they can get the rights for the original movies....

For the slow thinkers among us: So they can make the monsters once they are featured in the movies?

Meaning that since they now have King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan in the movie NECA can make Showa and Heisei versions of those as well?

Yes, NECA is now working with Toho directly so they have access to all of the Godzilla monsters.

Did no one watch their interview back at SDCC where they talked about this? They even now have access to Toho's library of artwork.
