Hasbro Announces More Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures Figures

More terrible overpriced repacks. On the plus side- the comic they come with is fantastic- but can be purchased in whole for much cheaper than buying the figures.

Not even smart enough to repack Clone trooper, Scout Trooper or Snowtroopers that some suckers might actually buy. I guess Boba Fettish types will get this repacked Fett.

I am remembering that Lucasfilm/Disney has a lot of input over what characters are made, though.

They couldn't even use the newer and better Fett that came packed with Han from the year before. Loving the stylized artwork in the Fett comic, good to know they can be purchased separately.

New TRASH both figuratively and literally. Waste of talent, resources and labor.

Almost

tempting but I bought this fett and solo in a 2 pack at 5 below. These are sadly WAYYY overpriced. I'd be happy with $5.

If they thought about it that way, i'd be picking one up every time I'd make a Walmart Stop

They use the art from these: there are individuals of Ep.7 and 8 too but I'm just waiting for another hardback to collect the full trilogy

This one is from the Mission Series from a few years back. The Fett in the Han 2 pack is mostly a different sculpt and IMO the best sculpted Fett in that scale, so not sure why they didn't use that version of him...would've easily picked up one or two of him on the cheap if they did.

Awesome, thanks. I'm going to go put it in my Amazon cart right now.

I dig them! Very collectable imo just as is. I'd prefer to have the comics seperate & keep all these sealed as collectibles, rather the opening them. They look really cool and with the Star Wars AND Disney logo on them *chachacha-ching!* in 30 years with the rest of the loot I been saving for 24 years now (approximately 35 years back if we go back to comics & being a kid collector)

Was @deecee4 referring to those books when he said "Good thing you can get them separate." ?

Because I'd like to know where to get those they look intriguing.

I was never crazy about this kind of cartoony style in the sci-fi genre. It lends a tone that seems somehow misplaced, parody-esque. (Remember "Droids" and "Ewoks?")

Imagine what it would be like if great artists like Al Williamson and his ilk were born about 40 years later, so their talent could benefit from modern technology (e.g., enhancement by desktop drawing and editing programs). Even so, the old movie adaptations are still gorgeous by today's standards.

I think Marvel did redo their original movie adaptations as single volumes per movie but with modern/corrected colors, the art and lettering were mostly maintained.
